K guys, I'm looking for a wireless router and modem for my new apartment. So here are the details:

I need coverage for an apartment about 700 sq ft. I'll be hard wiring the desktop, and connecting the laptop, iphone, and game systems via wireless. My desktop's mobo has gigabit ports, laptop is wireless G (hopefully getting a new one with N), picking up the new iphone that has wireless N, and will eventually be picking up the wireless N adapter for my xbox or just wiring with a long cable.

I'm getting cable internet at 25 mbps advertised, through Cox and would rather buy my own modem rather than rent theirs.

I was able to pick up a Linksys E1000 for 40 bucks today, but was wondering if I could benefit from a gigabit or dual band router. I don't plan on setting up wireless printing or moving files between devices on the network right away, but don't mind having those options for the future. Anyways, should I just roll with the E1000? And what do you recommend for a modem?
