Having trouble Exporting in Flash

So I've recently been dabbling in Adobe Flash CS5, and I've created an image that fades into another image.

The thing is, I'm very inexperienced when it comes to Flash, so I have no idea how to convert this image into an image that would be usable in say, forums, like these. I have it saved as a .fla, and it works perfectly when I export it as a .swf, but I can't upload .swf's anywhere that allow me to use it in forums.

Every time I try exporting it as an animated .gif, or a .png (Is that even a animate-able file?) the image doesn't change.

I have Action Script 3.0 included within the image, but it's not necessary and can be removed if it has to be, all it does it stop the animation on mouse over, and resume the animation on mouse out.

Thanks for any help!

Here's the .swf: http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1276560576

If you are using Actionscript to do the animation, then a .gif won't work, you'll have to animate it out. Pretty easy though, just use motion tweens (shape tweens? one of them. It's been many many moons)
