Kinect stuff aside, cause that's just not for everyone, nothing was super-awful (maybe the brief Windows7 mobile scripted shit?) Justin Bieber made an appearance to showcase some Kinect stuff, which is like, what? Why?
The games at the beginning weren't anything fresh. Same shit that's been known about for months, little new media. Worst thing about the opening 20 minutes was knowing that the Call of Duty franchise is getting raped for another 2 full years. Woo hoo?
It wasn't an awful spectacle, but it definitely wasn't a strong showing in any regard.
...there's one thing to look forward to when E3 is over. I won't have to look at those three G4 idiot announcers any longer...and no, I'm certainly not talking about Sessler and co.

And...it would have been nice to see Kinect bring something innovative to the party.
I was really disappointed with Wii's motion stuff thus far. So much so that I gave away my Wii.
I've been hoping that Nintendo's early efforts would be treated as stepping stones to more detailed and immersive motion control gameplay by other companies and inshwillow by Nintendo itself.

So the G4 stream seemed to be the quickest/most up to date but the stream itself was smaller than Youtube and GT. Any other decent ones?
g4 also likes to point the camera at odd places during demos. Unfortunately I think the youtube is the only one that works with the filters I'm on right now.

So the thing that tracks your full body with just a camera isn't innovative?
Granted, the games are similar to what we've seen, but what else can be done? Kinect isn't some magical thing that's gonna open up a fourth dimension. It's going to take what's made some motion controlled games work and make them better. Your Shape, Dance Central, and Kinectimals are simply better than their Wii/DS counterparts.
When did that not become enough? I can't imagine how you enjoy anything. Brand new Zelda game? Pfft. Seen this before. Bulletstorm? Another Doom clone. Yawn.

It is quite a letdown, especially since, if companies had put in any actual effort, they could have probably come out with some great titles that really took advantage of the remote.
But apparently they all thought mini-game collections were the way to go. I mean, there are some great 1st party titles, but those alone aren't really enough.

Okay, so predictions. Are they going to wow us with something after the intro, or are we going to get twenty minutes of charts telling us how obscenely successful they are?

There have been many debates on this forum about the technical feasibility of actually deep motion-sensitive gameplay, i.e. whether "1-on-1" sword controls are even possible to begin with, therefore we shouldn't have been disappointed that Twilight Princess replaced "pressing B" with "swing the remote in any direction" instead of something more substantive.
Whatever. It's been like five goddamn years. ME WANT SWORDFIGHTING

I am a freaking nerd.
Also no Kinect price, boring Kinect demos of the same games we've already played on the Wii.

Oh, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a port. The video game channel said so.

Damnit, I just want updates I can read while working.
confirmed!
Oh hello back of Crecente's head.
Also:
The device is innovative but the games are not. Hence my interest in Move, maybe Sony will show some actual creativity.
I don't buy on potential anymore.
