Fuck, like $80 bucks fo the controller pack. The controller pack is sold seperately? Shit, that's horrible! Then I also need the Eye thingy, which I dunno how much that is. The bundle sounds kick ass with the PS3, but still, damn.

I'm not entirely sure it's a good if the best thing about your press conference is that you brought the guy who does your commercials. I'll just chalk it up to Sony being over excited at not having a terrible/terrifying ad campaign for the first time in recent memory.
he had an important job though. they are trying to bring in an entire crop of people who play games, people they didn't really consider in the same way as nintendo when the consoles were released.
I think he did great, he poked fun at "hardcore" while also making it all seem really endearing, and saying hey we're going after these other customers but that doesn't mean we are "casual"... really it's a defense nintendo could have used for the last 2 years if they gave a shit and weren't selling like fucking crazy.
Ouch. That actually makes the Kinect seem a bit less insane at $150, considering it handles up to four people at once. (though probably not that well.)
