I'm going to go ahead and say that I enjoyed FOG/GAS/HAZE night quite a bit. I've never really used thermals before, so it was fun to try somthing new and trying to switch up my play-style a bit at the same time. 'Cause run-n-gun with a thermal FAL didn't work so well. I had to stay back a bit.
Good times though! We should run that style of class more often. I was surprised that we didn't get any rage by the time I had to quit. I wonder if you'd get a lot more rage in Demo or Sabotage. We piss people off in Sabotage anyway, so just imagine how mad they'd be if they never saw the bomb or their plant location.
And congrats on the internet upgrade, Brutle. Maybe you'll get host now instead of me. :P The Wasteland map we played when you hosted was just fine. I didn't notice any lag. Yay!
Thanks for the fun games last night, whoever you were (I didn't recognize the names). I can say that was easily the most fun I've had in demolition. Especially surprising because one of them was on Scrapyard. Also, ruining that quickscoping douche's day over and over again on Invasion was pretty sweet.
I just wanted to make it clear that I don't normally witch or tube. But I had just prestiged right before our games, so I was pretty limited. Thanks to a couple Veteran challenges I already at lvl15, though.

I get a lot of my kills by just looking at where the red dots are. It has me paranoid about my own red dot. I can't even play the game without cold-blooded pro/ninja pro silencers etc.
This, in particular FMJ shots. You know that adult video store in that one map? I'm sure some of the dudes camping out in there waiting for people to enter through the front door are raged when they get some surprise L86 action from the wall behind them.
Because I was in the street behind that building, and they pinged on the radar. LUCKY WINNER IS YOU!

So... does that CalBrakken guy post here? We couldn't get him in the group after you left, Brutle. I felt bad, but he couldn't connect for some reason.
I do post here :winky:
I have no idea what the problem was. I got the invites, and everyone was sending them, but it was stuck at the loading screen...attempt 1, attempt 2, attempt 3...fuck it.
So I tried restarting the modem and the console, and I could connect to a game outside of group...so I don't know what happened.
I didn't want you guys wasting anymore time than necessary to come to the conclusion that the shit wasn't going to work tonight. It was a nice effort, I got messages, etc. I didn't feel left out in the cold or anything, but I'm considering dropkicking my xbox out into the street.
I've had this happen with certain people. There are certain people on my friends list who I cannot join their party when they are host & the same is true when I host. I don't know if it's an issue with service providers, routers or something else. We can both connect to the same game, but only when some else starts the party. I can't even join their session in progress, but can join the same game if I pick a different person on the team o_O

Yeah, demolition is my preferred gametype, but I wasn't expecting that scrapyard demolition game to be fun. I changed my mind when I got that triple kill with a grenade while they were trying to defuse B.
Last night was a good reminder why I play with PA or other friends only. I can count on you guys to be smart enough to realize that because I'm already looking in one direction, you should look another way so we don't get knifed in the ass. I'm always a better player when I play with PA and my K/D shows it, even in objective games.

Limed a thousand times, yes. I see so many killcams where some guy flanked me and a pub because I was looking through a window and the pub decided to look in the same direction instead of moving on and, incidentally, seeing this guy like I assumed he would.
One time some dill had the gall to walk up to me at a window, and 'stab' me (FF was on). Apparently he wanted the thing. And this after I'd been the one man enough to clear out the building for the little wuss. Screw that, I said, and spent the rest of our lives together spinning around him and stabbing, until the sniper I'd killed returned to his roost and killed us both. I counted it as a moral victory.
And I missed out on Operation Smog? Goddamit! I'd just made a OMA CB Thermal Smoke class on my own time too. Next time this is on I demand to be contacted. Shine a spotlight into the clouds with the shape of a falling brass instrument. I'll be there.
Edit: One more thing. We have to all play Gentlemen some time. And we take our own slight variations and spend the time in lobby arguing over how each of us is using an ungentlemanly perk/equipment/tactic etc. Pubbies won't know what's going on.

I assume so. I wasn't the first guy to invite him to a PA group, so I don't know for sure.
And, "Can't connect to host" happens a LOT. It just means you need to get a different person in the party to host the room. It normally isn't a big deal, but you guys last night seemed pretty hung up on that 'start the group' thing after I left.

Oh, there is definately lag. Just ask Mechanical. I was also host on that Karachi game too, and as wolf said "I came around the corner firing my magnum, but on the kill screen I just sat there eating EBR"
Also, cold-blooded ebr still kills in 1 headshot? And since with stopping power it still normally takes 2 shots? Well, I rediscovered my love for the EBR last night in any case.

Yeah, the SP EBR is a 10-bullet/clip WA2000 without a second perk. So not much point in SP on the EBR.
EBR and WA2000 have same fire rate. As fast as you want to shoot it.
WA2000 also doesn't hardly see any benefits from SP.
The real only differences, is the EBR takes way less time to put away/pull out/reload, and has a larger clip.
Edit: There are 2 sets of weapon charts in the OP, but, uhhhh....where are the good ones, that like, show information about the spread of the guns, and the time to pull out and put away and reload?
she's trying to teach the dog tricks now. Sit is okay. I don't know wtf shake is fore. I heard the puppy learned off today.
I really hope you were remembering how that conversation went last night: she was telling the dog (I assume dog) to shake, and you said "she's trying to teach the pet new tricks" to us, and then I said "so she's teaching YOU new tricks. Haha!"
'Cause I wasn't implying that your wife was saying "pull out" ... goddamnit Holi. That was supposed to be funny, and now I've inadvertently implied that your wife is into ... bad things. Sunovabitch, I'll be over in the corner thinking about what I've done.

Barrett has a uncapped fire rate as well. Ask anyone who has seen a final killcam of me using it in Barebones.
Also, the only "tricks" a dog needs to know are stay, sit, down, and "shut the fuck up, dog" which my dad managed to teach his. It is very useful.

A Magazine is a device used to store ammunition for later use in a more efficient fashion than a single-shot weapon. It utilizes a spring to load ammunition into the chamber of the weapon.
A Clip is used to feed a magazine. It generally has no spring, and generally consists of a piece of metal holding the rounds together (usually 8 or 10). It is inserted into the internal magazine of the weapon to reload it.

The terms are not interchangeable despite what Hollywood tells you, and you might as well call a Japanese dude Vietnamese.
Also, the only "tricks" a boy needs to know are stay, sit, down, and "shut the fuck up, about the difference between a clip and a mag" which my dad managed to teach me. It is very useful.
FTFY.
Ed: I agree with your clip/mag crusade. However, I do insist on calling all rifles "Assault AK-47s" and all handguns "semi automatic Glocks"

MW2 and 1600 Microsoft points from Gamestop for $40. That's the game, and half the map packs, for less than the price of the game.

Is this accurate? If I'm reading this correctly, the F2000 has the same recoil as the other assault rifles, and that's obviously not true
Is there really a big difference, or is this a "is it a truck or an SUV" kind of a thing?
All of the recoil things show the same for some reason. Everything else looks accurate.

Whatever, I'll lay it to rest. Not like I'm going to change anyone's minds.
they're both asians,
They're both thingies that hold bullets.
I don't see the problem here.
also, scat, I've had several friends just like you who know the intracacies of fire arms and hate it when people get the two confused.
I used to be that way with language itself. Like never ending a sentence like this:
"where's it at?"
I think you are being a commie.
Then I put the clip in my gun and Scatman had an aneurysm.
