    But they both hold ammo, and they both go into guns.

    Thus, they are the same thing, for all intents and purposes of a videogame.

    Clip is also quicker to say than magazine.

    This is also the stupidest argument, since I seem to remember Scatman promising to drop this ages ago.

    I used to say clip but now i'm too used to saying mag since scatman always corrected me. I got kick ass guns in borderlands as well, if you are in 360. I been trying to get tac-knife for all my handguns but the magnum fails me a lot, it seems like the irons are dead-accurate. Is it supposed to be off-center like the DE's or no? maybe it's just the range.

    Is the Magazine/clip difference what makes the call sometimes " Changing Mag" and sometimes just " Reloading"?

    I used to say clip until I learned the correct term and then I used that instead of arguing that the incorrect term might as well be as correct as the correct term.

    it's sort of like how I just learned that Heckler and Koch (of H&K firearms) is pronounced Heckler and Coke, so now I call it Heckler and Coke instead of the previous incorrect assumption of Heckler and Cotch.

    Well, straight from the horse's mouth. At least I've managed to avoid embarrassing myself in front of the real gun nuts by using the abbreviation "H&K" instead of mispronouncing it.

    I figured that was just randomization so your guy doesn't say "Reloading!" every time. Could be I suppose, but there are only, what, 4 (Revolver, RPD, SAW, and MG4) guns and the 5 launchers that don't use magazines?

    well ch has a whole different pronunciation thing going on in german, so i guess it doesn't really draw any parallels to saying it in english

    i dunno, just saying it out loud from looking at it, coke is kind of closer to the german (although it might just be treated as a name in that it pronounces differently than it looks, who knows)

    everyone should just call it h&k

    Not really, it's pretty much just a "k"/"ck" sound. English's "ck" (as in "lock", "lick", "block", "cock") is pretty much right on for German's "ch."

    Is German your native language?
