    For some reason I thought the RPD had a Drum-magazine. I might be crazy.
    The Soviet made RPD was widely used and encountered in Vietnam. It was
    at the time standard squad automatic weapon of the Communist World. It is
    also known as the Chinese type 56 light machinegun. It is chambered for the
    exact same round as fired by the AK-47 and SKS, the 7.62 x 39mm. The RPD
    uses a drum type magazine to hold a 100 round linked belt of ammunition.

    Also for anyone who gives a shit...
    The RPD, or formally known as the Ruchnoi Pulemet
    Degtyarev, was one of the lightest machine guns ever produced.

    EDIT: Wow... the RPD is apparently much slower in real life than it is in MW2. 150 RPM vs. 666 RPM (Apparently).

    I've always heard them referred to as boxes, since the gun pulls the belt into it to feed, rather than a spring in the mag feeding the rounds into the gun.

    Edit: Where are you finding 150 RPM? Wiki shows 650.

    Man germans got such a bad ass language compared to other ones. Well japanese sounds pretty awesome since it sounds like they are yelling at each other all the time. For MW2 question are the AUG and RPD the only good LMG's in the game? I'm still trying to level up guns and I wanna expand my LMG horizons, so if anyone got any experince with LMG's let me know.

    Okay, so it's not a Drum magazine. It's just a drum. The gun itself handles feeding/pulling the cartridges into the chamber. Got it.

    Speaking of the MG4, that's one of the LMGs that doesn't benefit from silencers, right? Or is that the M240?

    Vector is way up there.

    Edit: According to http://denkirson.xanga.com/715966769/modern-warfare-2/ G-18 with 1100 RPM followed by Vector with 1000.

    Huh, thats what it was? I thought they found out a way to clip through the geometry and get outside the map.

    Yeah, that's what it was. I'm sure there was some map-related stuff as well, but there were only two real problems with that: Castle and Roundhouse. The other part of it was that bipods while deployed prone had a tendency to act like mounted MGs in the campaign without overheating.

    Those were some good games, but the respawning in those FFA games was ridiculous.

    People can testify that I just lost it when I spawned like 3 feet behind Scatman and instantly shot him as he walked into my FOV.

    At the very end of that Scrapyard match, I killed Lazy at a side-entrance to the C warehouse, walked in and saw him spawn in front of me and shoot me.

    Still enjoyed every F2000 kill, though.

    I hope the games tonight made you all consider leveling up your handguns, to get a nice shiny tac-knife. I'm glad somethings got cleared up tonight though.

    1. Mercy is a camper(even if he's moving around and such)
