    R.I.P.

To be fair, as fun as this game looks, it just looks like every other Kirby game, just in shinier 3D.

    You dunno but

there's some people in the world who want nothing more than 4 player Kirby : (

Holy crap dude, that's really awesome.

So when you make something like that, do they actually give you access to the 3D models and textures used in the game, or do you have to do your own best approximation? Not that it would be too hard in this case.

Thanks, our 3D people really killed it on that one. As for the models, it depends; sometimes we get them and sometimes we don't. Some companies are better about it than others. In this case, we just made them from scratch (as they aren't that complicated).

Joystiq's review is up, and I'll post my favorite part:
Honestly, the lack of difficulty didn't bother me. I spent around 10 lovely hours exploring the intricately detailed, painfully cute Patch Land in co-op, and came away feeling, well, lovely. Kirby's Epic Yarn makes a convincing case for the idea that we don't have to be challenged every single time we play a video game. Occasionally, it's enough to be happy.

I'm probably the only Nintendo fanboy who isn't at all interested in this game. The gameplay looks bland and slow, something I believe shouldn't be overlooked just because the visual style is cute and unique. Everyone else is falling over themselves for this game and I can't figure out why.

Guys, I think something inside me is broken.

That Gametrailers review was actually the nicest thing I've seen on this game. Before it I couldn't really get the concept. I can get the joys of say, Paper Mario and Cubivore and other games with a very specific visual bent, but the yarn deal seemed to be missing the selling point. But now I see just how nicely done it is, and the fact that this is a fairly large game is something that should be explained a little more. I think my problem is that I was concerned this would be a very pretty looking game that wouldn't have very much to do once I got it. Now I see it's pretty respectable in terms of its size and extra stuff.
