Help me spend a coupon for a book

So I have a coupon for 40% off a book I have to spend by tonight and I'm trying to decide between either a cookbook or a programming book.
For cookbooks: I already have I'm Just Here For The Food and The Joy of Cooking. Any other recommendations for someone still getting their feet wet in cooking would be welcome.
For programming: Leaning towards picking up a Javascript book. I did work almost entirely in systems languages in college and want something for a scripting language that can do web apps so Javascript seems like a good fit.
