Its big. Not just big, but huge. Four separate layers, each dripping with buttermilk icing, as sickly as it is delicious.
Critics will argue for over a thousand years at the profound statement made by this construct. This Babelcake. Too large to fit in any container, towering over lesser foods like a lighthouse over a stormy sea. With no one face to capture within its wavy surfaces, the Babelcake instead has a question mark, to reflect Sabres mysterious, yet delicious qualities.
It is only now that I realise the only way to slay this beast is for me to devour it and have the resulting heart-failure kill me within a week. I tried to reach beyond the abilities of an amateur baker, to go to places where those with actual cooking ability dare to tread and I will be punished for my arrogance. There is no victory for me this day.
