    Just because it already exists doesn't mean that you can't create your own specific design/implementation of it and manufacture or license it out. If everyone always saw that someone else was already doing something and so didn't do it themselves, there wouldn't be any competition in the market place.

    Well, this isn't legal in a lot of the US as far as I know.

    But this exact implementation (shower water being used for toilet water) is widely used in Europe and Australia.

    yes, except that the OP doesn't even know enough to engineer such a system let alone a system that has any kind of advantage over existing grey water systems
    so why waste time trying to engineer a system to compete with systems that have been engineered by people that actually know what they're doing?
