I skipped all of the ME2 romances on my first playthrough, and haven't had time for any others, so I hadn't come across that.

That's in the game? That's injecting a little bit of Up into my Mass Effect. And Up was pure, refined Sadness.

No, it was from the Talimancer Incident of 2010. Fanfics were posted, minds were lost, and a thread was locked.

We do not speak of it here but in hushed tones. Change the subject, quickly, before someone comes in here quoting the Tali thread from the Bioware forums.

Pretty sure Pancake was involved... and there was talk of poop sacks.

I've tried to block most of it from my mind.

Why can't you have more conversations with the person you just boinked? I think it's silly. There should totally be extra conversations and possibly even the ability to go on a date...

Yeah yeah... don't judge me. At least I slept with the HUMAN
    The first time...

Then I played ME1 and slept with the Asari. Titties!

Wrex does nothing to deserve his tough guy reputation. All he does is shoot a disarmed man on the floor and stand up to Shepard. Big deal, I give him props for doing it but he went down easy. Compare to Grunt's first interaction with Shepard. Or the badass introductions of Jack, Thane, Samara, or pretty much any character in ME2.

Combat-wise, though, he's the best squadmate.

    there is new dlc?

i do love how they are consistently releasing stuff to make up for the lack of it in me1.

And I hate how it's bullshit armor and weapon stuff that we could make ourselves if the game was moddable at all and which isn't worth the money people insist on paying for it.

    This.

ME1 had two DLC things in total. We've already got Overlord & Kasumi to match that. The Cerberus Network was created so they could send us small things like Hammerhead and bullshit armor and weapon stuff in between the big "real" DLC. Just pretend we don't get them if you don't like them.

    pussy stories

nice job getting your ass kicked by your dad and then running away when you could have taken his place, Wrex

remember when Zaeed got shot in the head point blank by his best friend then burned him alive several years later

remember when Grunt was also attacked by krogan commandos at a sacred site and murdered them all

remember when Thane saw salarians being harassed by Eclipse mercs so pulled a headshot that made Garrus blush

remember when Liara T'soni got pissed off and biotically Falcon Punched Shadow Broker agents

shit, Wrex was too scared of messing with SB

Nah Shepard I don't need to talk about it, it ain't even a problem for me.

Wrex's stories of rampage are just watered-down versions of the true Canderous, Zaeed Massani.

Man, after playing Dragon Age, the lack of this kind of banter in ME2 was really annoying. They had characters better than in ME, with more potential for random banter, and completely squandered it.

    Magically?

Also, I agree with the below, ME has great potential for more random bantar like that Garrus and Tali bit, and they have yet to do as well with it as the Dragon Age team has with their IP.

Anything that comes out of Oghren or Zevran's mouth is hilarious in those small talk things in cities and travel. I would love to see the same from people on the Normandy crew, or characters like Grunt and Joker and Mordin and others.

Hey, here's kind of a random question for you guys- does anyone know if this game looks good on a small HDTV?

I'm currently playing it on a 42'' SD tv, and I can't read the text for shit. I'm thinking of grabbing a small high-def for my room (I live with four other people, so room is best) and as such would want a small one, say around 22''. Has anyone played the game on a small tv like this? Is the text clear? Will it look pretty
