i'm prepared to get death threats for this outrageous opinion
the ME1 inventory sucked
It had some pretty annoying flaws but i wouldn't say it sucked.
I do miss the control you had over your squad mates appearance/weapons. But God, sorting through all the weapon upgrades to get the good ones was a pain in the arse.
Crap, now I'm agreeing with -Tal. It was pretty godawful, simply because the sheer amount of useless crap that the game threw at you (Hey, 12 Combat Scanner IV! Sweet!) and that if you didn't constantly clear it out, you might actually get something that wasn't crap and be forced to omnigel it because you wanted to do something like change your equipment.
im an engineer, i just got jack and i really like her. so i'm ok at nukeing shields with overload, but armour is tricky.... should i just use the scientist instead of the sniper or does he have something to plink through armour with?

Something fire-based is good for armor. I'm playing a soldier so I just use incendiary ammo. Zaeed's fire grednade is good for armor, too. Warp seems good against everything, too, whether it be the biotic skill or the ammo variant.

Sniper rifles get a damage bonus against armor.
You won't really notice it in the beginning though. Also fire and armor-piercing abilities work pretty well.

Reading about someone playing Mass Effect and not caring enough about the characters to remember their names makes me wear my sadface.
Well I didnt want to use the snipers name because it might be spoilery.

I really hope in ME3 we get to toss someone out an airlock. A batarian would be great. Or maybe Conrad Verner as a reward for not getting him killed in 1 or 2.

Everyone knows Archangel is Garrus. And if they didn't, now they do.

Well, the main advantage of the engineer is that they excel at solving practical problems.
The main drawback is that they are unable to solve conundrums of philosophy. So use Garrus/Archangel/whateverhisnameis for that.

I don't think you can kill him. At least, the renegade resolution where you hear about his death in 1 doesn't carry over into 2. As a result, I was pretty surprised to see him when he turned up in the bar.

You hear about him dying again in ME2. He gets hit by a truck!

The sniper rifle is good. Use incinerate for yourself. When you unlock it, Garrus's loyalty power is very powerful vs armor.

Conrad will storm off unhappily if Shepard tells him to get lost when first talking to him in the bar. Eventually, a news report will be heard reporting that Conrad has gotten himself killed attempting to capture transient youths hitching a ride on top of a bus. The report carries on detailing that Conrad fell from the bus, struck several passing cars and eventually fell into the power turbine of a bio-mass recycling facility.

You see...now this deserved a cutscene.

I'm so glad I didn't get him killed in ME1, because hitting him in the crotch is one of my favourite moments in ME2. Which is why I was sure to keep him alive then as well. Wanna hurt him again in 3.
Man in ME3 just to screw with us Bioware will probably add a moment where Shepard get's all depressed like in ME1, only Conrad will rock up and punch you in the face to snap you out of it.
I mean admit it - even having read this, no one would see that coming.

Come on, Bioware, make him worth my time.
Anyone playing on PC noticed that your degree of renegade scarring in your squad portrait doesn't match how much you've got in game? Seems to be a minor bug...I'm always one step less scarred in the portrait than ingame. For example--in the game, I'll be in full glowing eyes of craziness mode, whereas in the portrait, I only have three tiny dots in each eye.

fucking GOD do i love this
shepards who allowed him to survive to the third game should have him fall into a fucking sun that falls into a black hole that gets eaten by a reaper, during which he is still conscious
If Conrad dies, I want it to be in the most mundane fashion ever.
Strikes a heroic pose, gets hit by a space taxi.
Fuck that shit. He deserves the most epic death scene ever. Crushed to death between a thousand-foot-tall telecommunications dish and a space zeppelin.

it would awesome if by his "accidental" death you can make a hard boss fight much, MUCH easier.
make it both a renegade AND paragon interrupt.

...I don't know why you would get death threats for saying something 100% true.
Why would you want to do that?
Yeah, on the list of 'Crewmates I would like to choke', Thane ranks pretty low.
Though...Subject Zero is really the only one on that list.
Problem is that she'd rather enjoy that.
In which case you probably wouldn't care anyway
Well its you spent some time looking out for your boy wrex, instead of trying to bang the nerd bait upstairs you'd have gotten his quest.
She stays because through her and the research station I can use warp ammo. Stupid as she is that one thing redeems her.

It's only if you tell him to shove off does he die.
Come to think of it, that's true of ME2 as well.
In fact keeping Conrad Verner alive, by virtue of his own stupidity, is one of the harder things to accomplish in Mass Effect.
Conrad does something stupid, you hear about his death, then he turns up in the next game like nothing happened.
Or maybe it's bigger than that. Maybe conrad is the reapers.
You see...now this deserved a cutscene.

MY. GOD. That would be the stupidest and most brilliant idea ever.
