The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
It's this peculiar little shump (free!) that consists of picking one of four ships, blowing up bubbles, collecting pink glowing thingies, and advancing the levels. The hook is that along with the single player aspect there is a drop in multiplayer component. Get the right item, a radar, and the game will throw you into a duel with someone else who's doing the same thing as you. The winner gets to move on to the next level and blow up more bubbles. It's pretty nifty, you can choose to just see how far you can get single player or you can just get yourself into a whole ton of duels.
The link to the beginner's guide on the site is borked, but here it is:

It's actually a very cool game. The effects and music are great, and the multiplayer is seamless in the experience. You can track stats and see other people's win loss records before you face them.

The link you didn't post?
I never asked for this!
Yeah, I seem to do that a lot.

Youtube video.
Broken how? It works, you sign up, log in, and play. Worked for me.
Balance wise? I have no idea.
Broken as in I could never get a multiplayer game going. Of course, this was back in October so maybe nobody was playing back then.
I'll update it and check it out.
I'll play it some more later.
Maybe not.
Did you try "low res" mode?
