I picked up the DLC last night even though I haven't played in a couple months or so. I do not regret the purchase and I haven't even done any gambling yet. I wasn't really a huge fan of the gang matches before, but I really like the new stronghold mode. The explosive rifle is hilarious... Turned a charging bear into red mist with one shot. Also hilarious is the cougar hunting ground, which I rather foolishly decided to explore on my own.
I'll probably be on again later tonight and tomorrow.
I've got all the DLC and wouldn't mind bumping into someone from around these parts in the game; if anyone wants to add me to their PS3 friends, my handle is Thirith_CH. Would be cool to posse up with you guys!

What better way to spend your money then on some liars and cheats DLC, but afterwards you might be a bit strapped for cash.
Thats why you should login on your xbox and vote for perfect dark to be the deal of the week in october, so you can nab it at 5 bucks. Wowie what a steal!
There are some single player challenges in Liars and Cheats I believe. You can buy the new rifle in it anyway. But they're both clearly focused on mulitplayer...which honestly the game needed.
Just got this for Playstation 3 and i'm totally in love. Very fun game. I need to get the DLC but I have so little time to play and the game is packed with content as is. So I'll probably wait. I got the free DLC at least.
Evil Avatar has some screens up of Undead Nightmare. Looks very Night of the Living Dead-ish. Noteworthy items include Marston riding whilst holding a lit torch and ZOMBIE HORSE. Once I'm not at work, I'll try to get one or two of the screens in the OP.

Weird West ahoy!
Could be fun DLC to mess around with, looking forward to it.

RDR freezes all the time for me. I'm at Mexico and can't progress in either De Santa's or Rickett's missions because it always freezes, always at the same point. I guess my disk is broken? It doesnt' seem overly scratched though.

Only reason I'm even close to optimistic about the zombies DLC is I can finally have some context for the song 'Undead West' by Knock Galley West. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAmBzsLM6hw
I'm only interested in Undead Nightmare because at least it's some single-player DLC.
Actually, scratch that. I'm interested because zombie horses. Here's to hoping that there'll be a special attack to eat enemy bandits' brains while on horseback.

All of this ^.
I'm really hoping to see some more single player love out of this game from the devs at some point.

I'd like that. I have zero interest in the multiplayer, so this is the only DLC I have any interest in that's been announced yet. There's a lot of potential in RDR for some excellent single-player DLC, so it would be a huge shame for Rockstar to overlook it.

I`ll never tired of zombies... then again I`ve ALWAYS liked zombies. I liked them for a long time before they became popular. I remember watching Night of the Living Dead when I was really young and I have been hooked ever since.
In the past 48 hours I`ve spent over $100 bucks on zombie merch. Dead Rising 2, three issues of The Walking Dead and Zombies!!! the board game. I love me some zombies and I love the wild west, combining the two is like having my brain cake and getting to eat it too.

did a zombie rape you when you were younger or?
I'm with you. I was hoping they'd have some cool single-player ideas, since the GTA4 stuff was pretty good, but oh well.
I've missed playing as Mr Marston.
Does anyone know anything about this DLC yet? Other than it containing zombies?
Pretend that it's a Deadlands game. If you don't like Deadlands-well, you have no soul.
It's more like every cheap suit in every media industry has raped zombies in front of me, actually

Zombies, cats and bacon. Thanks a lot internet. At least pirates and ninjas seem to be on a cool down.
I will admit though, I would have played GTA4 a lot more if there was a DLC or cheat mode that made all the civilians come after you.
In other news I should play through this game again but Civ V and another playthrough of Darksiders are also calling me.
I don't know about that. Zombies are a bit overplayed, but I trust Rockstar on this one. I think they can make this work.

Are you saying you liked zombies when they were underground?
8-)
You win the internet today, good sir.
I think the zombie went after the wrong brain.
