I almost hate to say it... but a new trailer just came out and... well.... this almost looks half-decent... nay, GOOD. :shock:

The caricatured character design still looks like ass for the turtles, and just reminds me of The Incredibles for every other character... but the animation is fantastic, the rest of the artwork is awesome, and it looks like they're doing a pretty good job on the script, too.
Could.... could we have a revival of TMNT on our hands?

edit: Just to clarify, you gotta still recognize that this is a kid's series, and as so, I'm not talking about a revival for us, but instead for this generation of kids.... Man, we need a new generation of kids who respect and love this franchise. Imagine going up to a seven year old and being able to have an awesome discussion about the turtles, and how cool that would be.

In motion the animation looks pretty decent. Still-frame it looks awful, especially the human characters.
I'll be interested to see it but I'm not going out of my way for it.

I was a kid when the first turtles cartoon was out. And I much prefere the new series.

Or the current Mirage Publishing comic book, which started up again several years back, and the the newer Tales of the TMNT comic series.

Because I think it looks fucking amazing. Sure, the jokes are lame, and its not exactly true to the original series, but looking back the original series sucked balls, this new film looks goddam badass.
Plus, you know, the visuals are pretty stunning. Like Incredibles 2.0, which is good in my book.
