It quickly becomes apparent what happened to the scout:

Basestar not placed - both are already present. Only one more heavy can be placed. Tom, should a heavy raider appear at 1:00 or 9:00?

The walls of Sickbay have informed me that the situation is grim, and we must jump immediately. All that is required is for some senior executive to order Doc Cottle to let me out of Sickbay and I'll head to FTL control. The walls have a good feeling about our chances!
Getting out of sick bay, was thinking about getting me some Eng cards as Baltar is the only one now drawing them and he has some resources to replenish

Yeah, I scrambled to check that with the initial distribution. At least we don't have something like Boomer being executed pre-sleeper and choosing Baltar to worry about.
