    4 Raiders at 11:00 activate and move to 9:00.

    5 Raiders at 9:00 activate.

    Raider 1 attacks Lee:
    1d8 = 7 - Lee plays 2 - Evasive Maneuvers
    1d8 = 8 - 2 = 6 - Boomer plays 2 - Evasive Maneuvers
    1d8 = 6 - 2 = 4 - Miss!

    Raider 2 attacks Lee:
    1d8 = 8 - Hit! Viper Destroyed! Lee goes to Sickbay

    Raider 3 destroys Civilian F and its cargo of 25,000 Vote Adar buttons. No resources lost.

    Raiders 4 and 5 move to 7:00.

    Jump prep continues - Jumping risks 3 population.

    Morale slips and Baltar is hauled off to Sickbay after asking a wall for advice.

    The raiders press their attack.

    7 Raiders at 9:00 move to 7:00.
    2 Raiders at 7:00 activate.

    Raider 1 attacks Viper: 1d8 = 3 - Miss!
    Raider 2 attacks Viper: 1d8 = 8 - Critical Hit! Viper Destroyed!

    Behind Galactica, three civilian captains watch helplessly as the raiders advance, with Galactica's protectors too far away to intervene. The sound fades out and a one-woman wail is heard as the fleet loses three ships in a montage of explosions.

    Civilians A (1 pop), B (1 pop) and C (no resources) are destroyed. -2 Population

    The jump track advances. Jumping risks 1 population.

    Zarek requests a Raptor to scout ahead. Unfortunately, the scout does not return. (1d8 = 2 - Failure - Raptor Destroyed!)

    It quickly becomes apparent what happened to the scout:

    Boarding Parties

    1. Activate heavy raiders

    2. Setup:
    1 basestar, 4 raiders at 11 o'clock
    2 heavy raiders at 1 o'clock
    1 civilian at 3 o'clock
    2 civilians at 5 o'clock
    2 heavy raiders at 9 o'clock

    3. Special rule - Surprise assault: There are no vipers in this setup.


    Heavy Raiders are activated. Heavy at 9:00 moves to 7:00. 2 Heavies at 1:00 move to 3:00.

    Basestar not placed - both are already present.
    Only one more heavy can be placed. Tom, should a heavy raider appear at 1:00 or 9:00?
    Also, you have 11 cards in your hand and must choose 1 to discard.

    The walls of Sickbay have informed me that the situation is grim, and we must jump immediately. All that is required is for some senior executive to order Doc Cottle to let me out of Sickbay and I'll head to FTL control. The walls have a good feeling about our chances!

    Incidentally, because I was curious, I looked it up on BGG and Boomer does still get both loyalty cards when the sleeper phase hits (but does not, obviously, go to the Brig.)

    Yeah, I scrambled to check that with the initial distribution. At least we don't have something like Boomer being executed pre-sleeper and choosing Baltar to worry about.

    Boomer choosing Baltar in a pre-sleeper execution is amazing. Dude ends up with FOUR loyalty cards.
