    if it comes back at all I'll consider it a bonus, currently locked into release day for getting back to the game.

    I honestly will be playing a LOT of multiplayer immediately. SP will be for when I'm sucking hard or if the internet evaporates for a day or somtehing.

    Don't you have to be logged onto Bnet to play SP though?

    Sounds to me like Blizzard isn't even sure when phase two is going to start. I don't get the impression it's so much a date thing, as a "when the hardware/software components are ready, whenever that is sometime before release...hopefully".

    It would only make sense, and be consistent with what Bliz HAS said, that they are waiting on hitting a certain milestone with updates/fixes to release Phase 2. I'm guessing they want to release one patch IF THAT between phase 2 and release, so its better to take care of things in a nice controlled environment without people mouth-breathing down their neck saying FIX MY BETA NAOW! like we/I was last month during the laggy weekend.

    They have no reason to not tell us a date, other than to make an arbitrary deadline that will disappoint people if missed. God forbid they give the 14 year olds who troll battle.net forums another reason to make a "cancelled my preorder" post.

    Do we have any word on availability through the Blizz Store?

    Or am I going to have to buy at a brick+mortar and then register? I mean, I have pretty much the audition of a lifetime on the 29th so I'm not too crazy about making sure that I get it on release, but still.....

    Well obviously the audition takes priority. Though my hands can only handle so much practicing per day and it's only 2 days so still Blizz store fairly close to release would be best

    Considering the supposed power of the SC2 editor, I imagine some people could create Fortcraft with enough time and dedication. I'm not sure it would be very fun, but whatever.

    There is a league SC2 thread....where is the practice partner signup thread? Handy details like race and what time you play and estimated skill level would be cool. Or is 3 starcraft threads too many? ...Or is it far too few?

    So I have a mate who has decided he'd like to play in the second phase of the beta. Jumping on the bandwagon late and all.

    I know it's unlikely, but is there a spare EU beta invite knocking about?

    I'll take care of all that once the game goes live. I had a spreadsheet with everyone's information, but didn't see a point in using it since the beta is over and things might change when the game ships. After the game is out for a few days, I'll get a proper spreadsheet up and PA will be united once again.

    I was in Phase 1, so I might, I think I gave one key away but vaguely remember someone saying extra keys were given to testers - how do I find out if I do?

    I've got a spare key, PMing it to you now. I never really played the beta before it shut and I'm really trying to make myself play some of the test maps or something just so I'm not at the bottom of the awful masses on release.

    Ive chosen Protoss as my first race to begin with. Me being a starcraft noob im doing pretty good after having watched a lot of Day9 but i must say. It all looked alot easier than it is.

    Im just practicing build orders till this game comes out i suppose. Should i watch pros and just try and copy a few of those for release ?


    Oh and this game runs great on my garbage pc. Cant wait to get a new shiny laptop so i can up the quality to like medium. Ill be happy as a clam.

    There is rampant rumor mongering on the battle net forums and team liquid, something about the client not being recognized (which previously came up when a new patch was out) and the phase 1 message being gone from the login screen.
