Hey H/A, I'm looking for some good whistling songs. Some that I like so far are the Andy Griffith theme, Ennio Morricone's stuff (especially the "For a Few Dollars More" main theme), and that one off the Kill Bill album ("Twisted Nerve"). However, all of these songs have a instrumental harmony in the background, and I'd really like to find a version with just the whistle. Any recommendations on other songs, or maybe a version of the ones I listed that just has the whistling? Thanks!
A full song that was solo whistle would be great, but I'm not really sure if such a thing exists (which is a shame, because some of those Morricone songs have excellent whistle parts). Worse comes to worst, I'll just use the full version of one of the ones listed, but I'd really like to find a solo whistle song
The man you are looking for is Roger Whitaker. He has a lovley version of Brahms Lullaby that is just him whistling and a lot of his songs are just him whistling.

Winds of Change by the Scorpions.
If you're going to whistle, whistle to 80's rock
I can't remember if the original recording of Lennon's Jealous Guy had whistling, but I'm pretty sure it did
Red Oyster Cult by the fabulous Guster has a whistling solo
EDIT: Jealous Guy features whistling, yes
Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay

I adore this song, plus it's got some nice whistling parts
I came in here to suggest Andrew Bird as well. Not solo, but still, he's amazing.
Dr. Stringz
This is him on some kids TV show, skip to 2:35 for the whistling.
I remember I saw the movie once with CC subtitles and it said "Whistling "xxxx" by "xxxx""
"Twisted Nerve" by Bernard Herrmann
Much appreciated.
