Quick question: My tablet's stylus' nub is worn completely smooth. Can I order a new one from wacom or what would you guys recommend I do?

yeah, pull it out and order replacements- there's really nothing else you can do

I see. I'm having a hard time pulling it out though and the e-store at wacom.com carries nibs, but they are backordered.

Just gently grab it with your teeth.

It's almost perfectly level with the stylus, so gripping it is out of the question.

Edit: There is no way to pull this nib out. I'm fucked! I think I may have to buy a new stylus.

I never really thought that people replaced these. It makes perfect sense now, but it might be too late. Shaking it and holding it straight up and down, the nib protrudes a fraction more. But my fingernails are too small, teeth too slimey. I shall look for tools.

You shouldn't click them, you wouldn't want to read about
    our awesome totems.

They should make an inception tabletop game. Mostly so I could
force everyone who plays to bring in a totem.

Hehe... I think it would have to be something like:
A d20 with a unique symbol on the "20". Not very clever, but I can't think of anything!

    What about you?

    I can't speak for F87, but:
I haven't seen the movie but I hope to soon. Also, my totem would be made of fine cypress and painted with bright warm colors.

A Wacom Intuos3 12x19 for $350 (lol, too bad my auction ended).

    I'd say a medium to large-sized Intuos3 or 4.

I KNOW! And could you believe that shit when
That's awesome Mango, but I don't think you would want that as a totem unless it was smaller!

Really? A 4x5? That's tiiiinnnyyyy... The Large may be too big of a step up from a 4x5, it's about 13x8. The medium is only about 9x5 1/2; but it's still so much bigger than the 4x5 that you'll not know what to do with yourself at first.

There is something vital that I forgot to mention, though. You have a widescreen monitor, correct? If not, when you scale the Medium to your monitor's proportions you wouldn't see nearly as big of a difference as you would with a 16:9 or 16:10.

Nooooo! No! You will lose maybe 1/4 of an inch out of the 8.8x5.5... It will still be about 8.6x5.5.

Also, buy it from Amazon. Discount, see.

I don't think you can hijack a chat thread used for chatting.

    also inception spoiler (sorry lyrium):
I would probably use a specially weighted pen (with dried ink) it would work in a dream though since the dream creator would recreate it as a normal presumably working pen. Also anyone who uses a totem with only a visual change should be careful because if anyone saw or noticed that change it could be presented in a dream state. Arthur and Ariadne's totems were both weighted.

Also I was doing a shit ton of speculation last night so sorry for being all inception nerdy.

This is rad and I want one:
    http://www.knucklebusterinc.com/features/2010/07/15/1930-art-deco-henderson/

That last pic is kind of annoying though, watching it be driven by a bunch of stumpy shorts and tshirts wearing dorks. It needs to be driven by someone with Rocketeer inspired leathers at the very least.

Also why the fuck don't I ever see anyone around here wearing proper motorcycle riding clothing except maybe on the highways. I already drive really cautiously around bikers, and try to keep as large a distance as I can away from them- it'd be nice to think that they had as much concern for their safety as I apparently do. I don't think that tshirt and cargo shorts riding ensemble you've got going on is going to do much to keep your skin intact, buddy.

Also looking at people driving around while stopped at traffic lights has made me realize that either most people have horrible taste, or good looking sunglasses don't exist.

Fair point, but with something that is that pretty (even if it's ergonomics leave a lot to be desired), I think people would understand if I were to ride it down the street whilst humping it vigorously.
