    Draenei +hit aura is going away, as are all +hit buffs, and since some caster classes are deriving +hit from spirit, so are spirit buffs. What they are replacing the aura with I'm not sure.

    I think they are a bit nervous cause they don't want people to freak out if the new models don't look good to some. They've said they are very leary of changing what people's characters look like, since people get attached to them.

    Of course, the obvious thing to do is include the new models alongside the old ones and then give people like a one time ability to switch over.


    Really thoguh, I think they'd just rather devote their art department to making NEW shit rather then fixing up old shit. Which I personally can't blame them for. New models are always fucking sweet and the game could ALWAYS use more diversity.

    Tried logging in, but I can't, because none of my eMails and/or passwords seem to work. Tried recovering my password, but that doesn't work, either, since I guess none of my previous eMails are attached to the username I used to login. Figured I'd start a new account, but I stopped halfway through, because I would need to buy everything again(I lost my CD keys during the last few moves; it's been years since I've played). Can't call customer support, because they have a high call volume and their queue is full.

    I'm taking this as a sign from God telling me not to waste my time.

    In regards to those slyvanis spoilers posted at the end of last thread... I fucking love Sylvannis and those spoilers reinforce that completely.

    Also taking bets on Volgin/silvy team up take down on garrosh?

    Is there any kind of list of things that are going away in Cataclysm?

    ie. Cool items, interesting quests, reputation factions, etc.

    I think I've done most of the quests EK and Kalimdor had to offer, but I probably should pick up Dartol's Rod of Transformation on a few more of my Alliance alts and probably farm up a healthy supply of ogre tannin just to be safe. And as for reputation factions, I'm up to 35 exalted on my main and I'm trying to decide if I should try and push for the 40 for the Exalted title before the expansion (for fear it may get Feat of Strength'd out or have some reputations removed to make it take longer or something).

    We probably won't know until later on, when every zone is closer to done.

    There was one blue post which stated that they'd bend over backwards to keep old achievements in the game though, so my hope would be that vanity items are treated the same way.

    Xmas is a maybe because like I said they have a lot still to do this is the first week of semi open beta and from what I know you cannot play with female worgen and a few other things


    As for vanity items? what happened to the closet or whatever they were talking about in the under development page

    Well there wasn't a patch today so I guess it's been in the build for awhile. Guess I missed it but then again I didn't have any reason to make a lvl 1 troll or dwarf.

    Moira Bronzebeard is returning in Cataclysm as the leader of the Dark Iron dwarves. As warlocks are common amongst the Dark Iron people, it isn't insane to assume that the Dark Iron joining the new, united Ironforge will bring some Warlocks into their society. Warlocks were previously outlawed in Ironforge, and may still be. With the desperation and gloom in Cataclysm, perhaps the dwarves decide that they need their demonic friends more than they first thought.

    Troll

    Trolls have a long history of summoning dark entities and whispering hexes and curses. Their blood rituals are not a far cry from that of warlock rituals. With the presence of Magi in troll society, there is also inevitably a group of dark casters hidden amongst them. Trolls were, for a long time, the only race Magi who did not fall to the dark path. It looks like a decade of lore has changed that fact.

    Dark Iron Dwarves allying with other dwarves sounds like a really bad idea to me. They're pretty bad dudes, badder by far than the magic-addicted Blood Elves.

    It's possible some very.....unusual, albeit temporary, alliances will be formed in the aftermath of the Cataclysm. Reduced populations with weakened military might may find themselves needing all the help they can get.

    And then when dark, nasty things lurking in the deep places of the world start crawling out of their holes, awakened from eon-long slumbers......

    Okay im just going to reply with a HUGE spoiler lorewise
    Magatha poisons Cairne Bloodhoof to the point where any wound could be fatal. Cairne challenges Garrosh in a duel, questioning the new warchief's leadership and ability to lead the horde. Garrosh wounds Cairne and accidently kills him, as he was weakened from the poison. Garrosh goes emo and locks himself up like an angsty kid in his room. What comes out of that room is a much wiser Garrosh apparently.

    Magatha and the other grimtotems are later thrown out of Thunder Bluff because some people found out about the poison and yadda yaddi yadda
