Right, and I agree with that. But there's got to be something that can be done with them.
I hate to draw on Ragnarok Online as an example, but in that game they have Guild Castles dotting the game's landscape. And the castles are PvP zones. Guilds fight other guilds for control of them. If captureable points like that were introduced to WoW's landscapes, with reasonable but not necessary features / function, it could add something to the PvP part of the game. I mean. Not that the arena / battleground shit isn't enough.

That was more of a half-assed attempt at it. None of it was like, actual fortresses that you had to enter and run through as if it were a dungeon in order to capture.

Wintergrasp is kind of like that, though, and it can get fucking laggy as hell, to the point of being unplayable. It also tends to leave success in the hands of server populations. If you're outnumbered, good luck seeing that content, ever
Yeah, all I'd really like is some specialized storage space so I don't have to keep throwing out holiday clothes and old armor sets to make room for useful shit.

At this stage of the game, player housing (or player/guild-owned anything) in WoW is more like a solution in search of a problem. At some point, it's just best to let this one rest.

I have one of every holiday item, 20 or so random nifty items from levelling that I didn't want to throw away, a full set of gear in the bank for whatever my untrained spec is at the moment (usually feral), a slot taken up by an herbalism bag, and most of the bags aren't the maximum size (only 2 are iirc) and I still have a bag's worth of space. What are you filling your bank with?

I mean, sure, more space would be neat because if I didn't carry my prot set with me my bank would be full. Then I wouldn't have room for my collectibles.
Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous that even with several bank alts, I haven't got room for shit on my main. It's all tier sets and holiday stuff and flavor items that are all soulbound.
I've always wanted some kind of "player closet". Some kind of instanced place with some kind of mannequin to display old armor sets and weapons, maybe a big comfy chair with a fireplace. Maybe add some flavor items like Onyxia's Head for achievements.

Is it bad I didn't know you could buy Tier 9 from outside of ToC?
I had just been getting the nonset peices in Dalaran

I have a failed-guild sitting on one server where I'm still in charge of it and have sole access to the guild bank (not that anyone can put anything in anyhow since they're all abandoned lowbie alts). <_<

The vendors are placed in the same place as the T7/T8 token redemption vendors so anyone getting to max level for the first time around now would never think to look there and thus rely on the super obvious vendors outside ToC/inside ICC instead.
So, no, it's not bad that you didn't know since the game doesn't tell you ever that they're there.

Blizzard still hasn't gotten back to me on trying to find out how to retrieve my account. I even tried calling them and either the phone was busy or they were full of phone calls which is a new one for a company to say. Give them another day or 2, kinda thought this would be quick. :?
I've never heard of account retrieval being quick.
There is one thing I can think of that can be done with Guild Halls in WoW: a singular, instanced building with entrances in capital cities that contains trophies and monuments based on the accomplishments of the top guilds on that server.
Think Lich King monument fountain in the center of Dalaran but expanded into an entire museum. Call it the Hall of Legends or Hall of Heroes or something.
Server first? Gets a trophy in the hall with a plaque containing the names of the guild and the participants and the date they completed it. Perhaps have the runnerup 2 or 3 guilds added with the date they downed the content. They could add other sections for pvp stuff, etc too.
Then everyone can go gawk at the exhibits just like any other museum.
I think his ideas are way over the top (access to your mats from anywhere in the world at any time? Slots for every potential "costume" you can get in the game?) and his mockups are pretty bad. They don't fit with the game UI at all outside of existing within a guildbank style window.

Here, have a crap ton of inventory slots. Have fun finding your stuff!
I mean really, who holds on to 3 different tiers of PvP sets?
It's not a horrible idea but it's not a great idea either. Organizationally you can already do everything he wants using mods, so it's really just a whine for more bag space. Which is a whine I understand, I guess, but I understand "hey idiot, why not delete your ilvl 213 pvp gear" a lot better.

The guild perks sound fantastic although I'm currently not playing and my old guild of many many years got torn apart by new officers to take a handful of people to another raiding guild
I'm glad they changed it from "10% of all gold looted is deposited into the guild bank." Was hard to justify to my guild how making the game essentially steal gold from them was a perk.
The guild leveling stuff sounds absolutely fantastic. I can wait to get our hands on Mass Summon and Mass Resurrection. A whole new age of finding unique ways to kill and rekill our entire guild at once!
You guys did know Wow.com released the full list of perks like two weeks ago, right? All mmo-champ's done is put the tooltips into their database. A quick glance over the list tells me nothing's changed since then so I'm confused why the conversation's acting like this is new info.

Took me 'bout three hours.

I want to know more PA people on Twitter.
Cause thats available pretty early. But man, the quick and the dead is probably the best one. Fast ass ghosts ahoy.
This one is alright as well. Less time spent gathering, sounds good.

Fixed that for ya bro
TBC had crap like this. Dunno what Cata cauldrons will be like, hopefully less shitty.
Using flight paths turned from a 1 FPS slide show into something I could actually watch.
