Decided to switch back to scout, I was hardly contributing to the team as an engie really but I'm a pretty good scout. I'm thinking of playing more medic as I'd like to be more useful to the team.

There are also negative versions of basically all of these effects. Either you have a chance to impair your teammates, negate one "tier" of an upgrade, or it is also intended to "debuff" an enemy.

max ammo for specific slots (maybe upgrade one, nerf another?)
max metal
projectile range
pipebombs out on the field
cloak consumption and regeneration
"aiming movespeed" (what? drawn/scoped snipers?)
weapon burn time

damage taken from bullets
damage taken from explosions
damage taken from fire
health regen
move speed
crit boost on kill
max health (boost only)
crits against ignited players
ubercharge on hit.
heal on-hit (boost only)

The description for the metal regeneration bit says "+%s1 metal regenerated every 5 seconds on wearer". Maybe the metal regeneration will lower your max metal in exchange for some metal regeneration?
I guess that's possible, though it being tied into the existing drop system makes me feel :? about it.

that seems very possible as an engi unlock considering they want engineers to be out in the field, and if you are constantly looking for metal to repair/rebuild a sentry while moving up on 5CP maps it makes it unfun
So, possibly the gold wrench is a consumable that you use on a teammate to upgrade him? I guess you go to a cabinet or your dispenser to get a new one?

I hate 5CP maps where the spawns repeatedly move. Fucking repairing or building a sentry, constantly moving teleporter entrances/exits is way more annoying, especially if your team is having trouble holding a point.
From my experience cp_well is the worst offender.

Oh, since I didn't think of it when I made the post replying to this: the metal regen was one of the "tiered" buffs, so I don't think it'll be an unlock (though maybe we'll get an item that grants something like it).
