By the way, if I did my counting right, this is update #137

EDIT: The TF wiki has this up at the moment for the Southern Hospitality
On Hit: Bleed for 5 seconds
    No random critical hits
20% fire damage vulnerability on wearer

If that's true, then yuck, yuck, yuck.

Resounding "meh" to that, if it's accurate. Unless Bleed's damage has been stealthily changed?

No bullshit crenching is a pretty big blow. I guess they want it to actually be a tradeoff with the regular crench! Imagine that!

I'd like it better if they called it "Southern Comfort" and on-hit induces a fish-eye effect.

Nenaman just coined the best term ever.

"Turtle Rush" - a team of entirely engineers building lvl3s in setup and then rushing out of spawn to deploy them all at once.

The wiki suggests that it is an allusion to the booze but maybe they didn't want to call it that just in case Southern Comfort got mad.
Although they do already have a jar of piss so maybe they were just too afraid people would get confused between the two.

Can you get item drops in practice mode or do you have to play online to get the new goodies? Or do you have to craft these new things? (I'm so lost!)

Props to everyone who didn't play engineer. Dee Kae especially. The new maps are really fun and damn pretty too but obviously hampered by the tons of engineers.

Can we do like a 4 engineer per team limit?

Be sure to check out the sights in every spawn by the way. Lots of 'hidden' goodies.

Also crafted an Killers Kabuto :(

You can get drops and achievements while fighting bots.

EDIT: Man, I'm still amazed we didn't get a "Meet the Team" video in this update.

Trading sure, since it'll require a massive backend overhaul, but it's nearly 14 months since the last video.

Are you insane? You're trading pyro vulnerability for absolute spy security. No-one plays pyro so it's a win win.

Engineers who rely on crenches are doing it wrong anyway.

Excuse me? This has no spy security. The wrench will do 65 damage on hit, plus another 42.5 damage if it's similar to the kukri. That's still not enough to one-shot a spy. You'll need a second hit just like before.

    Team Fortress 2

    * Fixed missing class descriptions on the class menu blackboard.
    * Fixed a server crash related to carrying buildings.
    * Fixed a HUD element issue in DX8.

    That was a quick patch.

When I did it, it first deploys as a 1, and then quickly upgrades itself. I can't remember if I was still beating it with the wrench or not.

I can't even tell you how awesome it is to be able to move your stuff. I need clean pants.

No, it's pretty annoying. The HUD bleed effect is the most prominent effect now, and it obscures your vision as well as pretty much kills you if you're damaged at all. I didn't go near engineers with that wrench without a dead ringer, which apparently nullifies it.
