I'd bet Relius wouldn't play anything like Carl. Kind of like how Mu and Lambda look the same but play nothing alike. The main theme behind Blazblue is that all the characters play differently due to their D move sets. I doubt they'd drop that idea anytime soon.
Maybe Ignis always stays by Relius's side and we end up with a Zato-1 sort of character where Relius doesn't really do much himself.
Very much so. He was mainly buffed with the only real nerf I've seen being the loss of his universal anti-air. And the main characters I had a hard time against have been nerfed, two severely.
Recently I've been spending a little more time trying to work on Tsubaki instead of Hakumen though.
I would call Lambda's nerfs pretty severe. Unless you're one of the crazies that thinks she wasn't that bad in CT.
Also I have a harder time with very aggressive characters with short range moves (such as Makoto and Hazama). Hakumen doesn't really have many tools for dealing with pressure once they get within a certain distance of you. Of course they have to get there first which is where Hakumen has a huge advantage, but once in there's not a ton I can do about it.

well makoto's projectile is kind of > hakumen's cutting
it's a 50/50 between void and FC combo
Hakumen doesn't really have many tools for dealing with pressure once they get within a certain distance of you.
IB>6D.
I think they managed to make lambda strong while sensibly downgrading her from Nu. Coming from Nu to lambda I don't really find them all that severe. They balanced her out pretty well while giving her some interesting new tools.
I would call Arakune's changes severe if he didn't have his insane curse loops. Because he seriously sucks without them, and has a much harder time getting them this time.
Sign up for ranbats you slackers. You're making the SSFIV people look better than you. Do you want them to look better than you? I don't think so. Nobody wants that.
Raaanbaaats woo. Hoping to keep up with how I did last week, although I'm not really expecting to depending on who signed up. Maybe I'll bust out a new character for shits and giggles.
Hazama's story was really effed up, especially the Tsubaki segment. Playing everyone like cheap fiddles.
Hazama is a troll. He hates everything except making others miserable and killing. He's even playing the NOL for saps, but Relius and the Imperator are too fucking stupid to realize it. He only wants to kill everything.
Really good games in the ranbat, especially to Blackbeard and Nick T in the Top 4. I was worried about the number of people at first but it worked out okay. A few key people were missing, though.
Once again I lose in the finals! Cue yet another training montage. I will win one of these, damn it!
What the fuck is going on with the PC version of Blazblue? It was supposed to come out today, but suddenly the official site says August 26th. Amazon says it's in stock, so maybe I should just order it and see if it arrives some time next week.
I'm not liking this game very much right now. I've never had problems getting the timing to the basics like this in any game before.
Now I'm stuck on throw-214B-214D-standing B-623C-236C-214D.
I cant hit the standing B. The only way I can get it to come out at all is to mash it, but then its too late. Otherwise it doesnt come out at all.
The command for the last inferno divider followup changed between games. One of the buttons in challenge mode in CS will tell you what the commands for everything is.
And yeah, keep a close eye on the demonstrations for each combo. The timing for some moves isn't "as soon as possible" like you'd think. If you delay the 214D followup to Gauntlet Hades as much as you can, you should have plenty of time for the 5B afterward.
So a question for anyone able to test/answer it. Can Arakune IAD as easy as other people? I can simply do 9 then 6 and get it for everyone but him. I don't know if timing is an issue for him but man it's been bugging me.

Arakune's air jump is a lot floatier than other people's. Probably why you're having trouble with it.
I'm pretty sure, I mean I can do this with everyone but him. I'll just have to spend some time figuring out where I'm going wrong.

Still stuck on that Ragna challenge. I did get the kick out to come out once, but that delay window is very small - Much smaller than a basic bread and butter combo should be

I'll be more interested to see if relius will become a playable character. Probably not.
i mean. i guess he could be slow and ignis fast? that's just unlimited carl.
I actually have a pretty awesome character concept based on that.
Tager's story is great so far.
I don't really get Platinum's involvement yet, and the whole mess with Murakumo/Mu/Amaterasu is confusing the heck out of me.

There's rachel, but arakune or lambda aren't really all that severe.
I've gotta say though, hakumen still can get zoned pretty bad. If it isn't laggy and stuff isn't whiffed for massive recovery times. :x

Maybe Ignis will fight and Relius'll do nothing? Relius is a scientist, and doesn't seem the type who would dirty his hands.

Internet says that the inputs should be 623C, 236C, 214C. I cant get the last move to even come out.
I feel especially retarded because I cleared the first 7 challenges on Makoto.
Edit: So its actually 214D, which means this page has that move listed wrong

Look up ragna mains for tips on how to do things.
