Learning to IAD on Arakune is super important because he's the only dude who can cancel his airdash into barrier blocking or attacks by holding 4, and having the forward momentum from the dash with those is pretty important to some stuff.
But yeah, the timing on him seems slightly different.
Still stuck on that Ragna challenge. I did get the kick out to come out once, but that delay window is very small - Much smaller than a basic bread and butter combo should be
I dunno what to say, I don't drop the combo very often (at least, not nearly as often as I do links in SF). Do the gauntlet hades followup as late as you can, and then do the 5B as early as you can.

Hazama's story was really effed up, especially the Tsubaki segment. Playing everyone like cheap fiddles.
Hazama is a troll. He hates everything except making others miserable and killing. He's even playing the NOL for saps, but Relius and the Imperator are too fucking stupid to realize it. He only wants to kill everything.
The Imperator really freaks me out. She's like the reborn incarnation of YHVH.
Sign up for ranbats you slackers. You're making the SSFIV people look better than you. Do you want them to look better than you? I don't think so. Nobody wants that.
I tried to make it, really. Hopefully you all still got to go through with them, right?

You've only seen her "shadow". She's human, like most of her subjects, and her identity comes as an extreme shock.
Just got the 'true ending' and the only part I didn't get was Rachael deflecting that magic satilight. Was that the thing which was destroying Kagatsuchi over and over again?

given that one of the two guys that won the SBO qualifier to go to Japan plays Tager, I suspect that tiers dont mean much in this game.

I think that's one of
the special god weapons like Hakubro's suit and Jin's sword

The Teach Me Miss Litchi segments in CS help clarify much of that jazz, as well as a lot of the Blazblue universe's fluff in general.

The Barrier was Tsukoyomi, one of the Sankishin Units with Hakumen's suit being another, and Amaterasu being the third. The satellite is Takemikazuchi (I probably spelled that wrong) a ridiculously powerful Nox Nyctores, though I believe it needs long periods of time to recover after firing. I don't believe it was what was destroying Kagatsuchi though, I think that was the Black Beast. I believe Terumi just called it in after the loop was broken.

I might be a bit off seeing that people think hazama and lambda might be higher, but that's more or less the general consensus and how i feel.
It's still too early for makoto and Mu. Waaaaay too early.

No, it was Kagutsuchi being destroyed by Takemikazuchi. The Black Beast goes back in time upon its awakening.
Rachel stops the attack when she realizes Ragna was saved from becoming the BB, ending the time loop.

I'll agree that they can't be set in stone on the list yet. But as someone who plays both Mu and Makoto and has seen a lot of videos of both of them, I'm expecting both of them to be around B+. Makoto might be A if people figure out some reliable way to get going against characters like Litchi, but she might be even lower if that never gets figured out (and when people start catching on that her 5CC is unsafe even if canceled, and easily IB'd on top of that).

Ah, ah, ah, remember
CS explains that the Black Beast and the events with the 6 heroes may have been a part of the Continuum Shift. The Black Beast was a cauldron going out of control, using the power of the Azure. To put simply, the World of BlazBlue is set on a constant time loop, where history endlessly repeats itself. However, Terumi, and even Rachel are trying to break the loop, though Terumi's result would mean, oh, I don't know, THE END OF THE FUCKING WORLD. Rachel simply hopes that Ragna will break the loop by destroying the Library's control, and thus, be a step closer to breaking the CS, whereas Terumi seeks to destroy Amaterasu, which I believe governs the life in the world. He also
Killed Takamagahara, the gods of order, which means the world has already started diving towards the "WE'RE ALL FUCKED" scenario.

the storyline for this game is basically a shotgun blast of made-up words and symbols, and probably references to japanese mythology
it is hysterical
Fact: Susano'o and Amaterasu are sibling gods who constantly were at odds with each other. Kusanagi was also a sword that Susano'o used to slay the Orochi snake demon, and gave as a gift to Amaterasu as a gift to make amends to her.

You could write a novel just about the games that have used Amaterasu or some form of mythology in their stories, or just as random battles.

I don't really put much faith in tiers, but jeez, my mains are always middle tier characters

[SSBB] Toon-link/ROB
[SSF4] Dudley
[SC4] Mitsurugi/Nighmare
[BB:CT] Taokaka
[BB:CS] Hazama or Lambda (still haven't decided my main)
I might break the cycle and end up maining Ragna for CS, but I'm leaning towards Lambda (right in the middle).

Originally she was a rushdown/zoning character. They nerfed her with the intention of making her a technical/zoning character. Lower damage, properties changed on all of her moves, previously safe moves made unsafe. They went overboard. They broke everything that was good about her without really giving her any sort of compensation. The bad part about it was, general consensus was she was probably the least crappy to fight against amongst the "big 3" from CT.

It's just that my hands just keep messing up. I want to do a 2C, get 3C. I want to do a 4D, get 2D.
Happens often enough that it becomes annoying.
Changing my sitting setup wasn't a good idea.
I can do the same with lambda and hazama, so I have no idea why I get so annoyed.
Including Makoto.
