Okay PA forum goers your my final hope..

My ViewSonic computer monitor is doing some funky things, it turns on but there is no image and the light on the power button blinks green than orange and simultaneously the screen will blink lines when it goes green and just go blank when the light is orange i can get it to work every once in awhile but it quite random when it does i assume its a power problem but i know nothing about this problem.

It all started when i was at a LAN the other week and we were moving the dining room table back and they hit the moniter on the top quite hard with the leg of the table but it only did the problem once for a very brief time after the LAN now 3 weeks later it does it every time i leave the monitor alone for more than 3 hours or randomly if i open i big program like WoW

please help PA this is very frustrating

It's kind of hard to make sense of your description of the problem. Try Viewsonic support.

The first step is to try the pc out on another monitor as a process of elimination. You need to make sure that it's not a coincidental video card or software issue.

If that doesn't work my suggestion would be to have it looked at by an electronic repair shop by the manufacturer if it's still under warranty or a local one if it's not. Chances are it's just a loose component and can easily be replaced at little cost.
