SO, I just got given a PS2 (cheers McMonkey!) he thought the console was broke, turns out it was just the power cable, luckilly he said I could keep it sinc ehe allready replaced it.
One series of game I have wanted to get into is the PS2 Shin Megami Tensei games, but I'm not sure where to start.
Amazon.co.uk shows -
Lucifer's Call aka Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Kuzunoha Raido vs the Soulless Army
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
and
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
Now, afaik the DDS series is a spin off, but where would be the best place to start?
edit - damn, the ps2 is a budget shmup
heaven
Castle of Shikigami 2 - £8.00
1945 Arcade Versions - £4.90
Gunbird Special Edition - £4.87
Psyvariar 1+2 £5.50

[spoiler:27ee066de1]the name is really very fitting.[/spoiler:27ee066de1]
The cover is still meh though. It's like Dante was their only prayer of selling the game. :?
Both DDS and Kuzunoha Raidou are side stories, but like any good RPG series' spinoffs, they're still plenty enjoyable on their own.
You'll find the most depth and (arguably) the best story in Nocturne/Lucifer's Call, though.
And Castle Shikigami & Gunbird : very yes.
No big deal. Here's a link,
