Misplaced Cell phone: things to double check that it wasn't stolen

So in my wives migraine stupor last night she misplaced her nexus one. tried calling it, but it goes straight to voicemail so its battery is probably dead.

Now I am assuming it is somewhere random in teh house, but there is a chance she left it in the car and if so, its possible it was stolen since it is not in the car.

checking my account shows no new phone calls on there as of 10 minutes ago.

so what else should i be doing? I have the IMEI number so i don't know know if there are legitimat searches to see if its been activated on some other sim card

once we do find it, she's getting wheres my droid

Call up your provider and have them suspend your service until you find it or activate a different phone.

since it's an android phone, i'd change the password for the main google account associated with the phone, and any email accounts that are automatically delivered to the phone

How would it have been stolen out of the car? Don't you lock it? :S
