That concept art looks a lot like a fetus. If that had been in the game the wingnuts probably would have attacked the game for ending with Shepard, et al. performing the galaxy's largest abortion.
I'm on a bit of a ME subbatical, but I'm keeping up on the Cerberus Daily news updates. I liked the one where the Turian general dueled the Seperatist leader in particular. It'd be cool to have a dueling sidequest in ME3.
Holy crap guys I just started playing ME1 on my brand-new HD tv (after upgrading from an old SD) and I never knew that the "investigate" symbol on the map was a circle with a question mark inside of it before! I just thought it was an orange dot!
Later I can see the Turian councilor make fucking air quotes at me... in high definition! Exciting!
Also, to the guy who made that scary-Shepard: Please tell me you named him "Voldemort," because he looks exactly like the movie version of voldemort

Has anybody else talked to the C-Sec lady officer at the very beginning of the Citadel who talks about Geth infiltration with Legion in your party?
It is a funny conversation that I hope you will enjoy.
Anybody who's played the game more than once and hasn't done that is a silly goose.
[EDIT] Spoiler tagged in case anyone didn't want to see dialogue from that scene.
"Geth do not infiltrate." ... "Geth do not intentionally infiltrate."

"Shepard-Commander."
"Legion? You need something?"
"We do not require anything you can provide at the moment. However, we have been double-checking our recently used runtimes. We have found an error in our speech processes."
"It happens. Not to me - I say what I want and never regret it. To other people I mean."
"When we replied to the female human officer regarding the Geth's practice of infiltration, we meant to convey the following: GETH INFILTRATE LIKE PROS ALL DAY, BITCH. ALL
DAY."
"...Damn. That's boss."
"We are aware."
I'd like to know where they got the idea the Geth infiltrate. Kind of hard for walking periscopes and giant crabs to blend in. This isn't BSG. And they couldn't have meant electronically as that security wouldn't do anything. And then they don't even recognize one. Just a result of them cramming a Geth into the party I guess.

It's pretty obvious Bioware panicked over the possible abortion simile in the ending of Mass Effect. I mean, had I been there I would've been all "EDI, find me a way to stick a coathanger in this thing".
Uh, that's like saying most people don't know what tornado's look like after one just hit Washington DC or something. And then furthermore the tornado experts don't know what they look like. It be like if a guy with a bomb strapped to his chest walk by airport security. Just WTF.

You, as Shepard, just executed the galaxy's biggest falcon punch. Much cooler than a coathanger.

So I just started Virmire..
At the Camp.. Holy crap I thought I was going to lose Wrex! But I had enough Charm to talk him down. whew.
Is there a way to talk him down without charm/intimidate?

Do his personal quest. You did talk to him earlier, right? Or just wander amongst the side planets and eventually you'll run across it without talking to him.

Ok, I haven't done much of the side quests other then Bring Down the Sky.
Has anyone purchased the Aegis package? Thoughts and comments on it?
I had enough bioware points left over from my dumb-ass earlier purchasing of kasumi and overlord (BOTH TIMES I got the 800 points instead of the 560 points or whatever the exact amount is) to get the aegis package. The armour is pretty nifty - particularly for vanguards as it upgrades melee quite a bit. The incisor is meh so far. I prefer the viper.
Excuse me. People here will leave Ashley to die for some barely questionable race remarks, but Wrex pulls a gun on you, openly questions your command, and threatens to compromise the mission, you hope a few words will keep him in line as the temptation grows stronger inside the base. I bet you're the kind of person who talks Grunt down instead of shooting him. It's the only language these savage krogan understand.

You're right! I don't even shoot him once! And he's loyal! And I love him more than I ever loved Ashley or Kaiden!
What do you think the chances are of them shooting four different versions of the Mass Effect movie? You know, Shep, FemShep, and a Paragon/Renegade runthrough of each...?

Wow, I thought I was the last poor soul to find that out. Congratulations on the upgrade.

While I also punched him, that was really his mission and the objective was to kill Vido, so you compromised it to be noble about the civilians.
The mission brief says the objective is to liberate the facility, it doesn't mention killing Vido. Zaeed just goes all nuts, you know, because of his little grudge.

That video never gets old no matter how many times I watch it.
And then I inevitably look up the Zaeed version.
We all know you play Mass Effect wrong!
The Zaeed version makes me sit here chortling. I love turning that thing on every few weeks when I need a laugh.
You're right! I don't even shoot him once! And he's loyal! And I love him more than I ever loved Ashley or Kaiden!
don't you dare claim you don't adore those adorable scamps
But you can bet I pistol-whipped the FUCK out of Zaeed when he dared to compromise the mission!
Spoilers, of course
Okay, it's been a while since I've done that mission so I'll concede the point. I will change the reason for the shepard smack-down to giving me lip.
Wait is this what actually happens? What the hell was that?
A man can dream.
Nah, i think it's an edit.
