Dear god I'm getting hyped, won't be able to work properly at this rate. The solution to stuff crashing everywhere is starting with single player! And well praying authing works at least.
3) try to get in, authentication servers are down because everyone else is doing exactly the same fucking thing
4) 2 hours later you finally log in
5) immediately disconnected
6) log back in, unstable as shit and high pings all up ins
7) no games are joinable
8) fuck it, I'm going to sleep
Before last year, I probably would have agreed with this. But WotLK launch went stupidly smooth and the servers did very well. So I'm holding out hope that with a full hardware array the servers may not actually shit the bed.

US Navy band on piano. I auditioned 6 months ago and they told me to learn Jazz and come back, so hopefully I've done that enough. From everyone I've talked to, it's about the greatest gig ever, and I've been pretty much not committing to other gigs in the near future because if I get it than I'm gone as soon as I can be with the whole real job thing.
So yeah, pretty much it's been dominating everything about my life for a while now. And after it's done, it'll take a week before I hear back, and I don't have any gigs lines up in the immediate. So essentially, it's a ridiculously important audition that if I do well in it, I have an awesome job for at least 5 years, and as soon as the audition is over I have a week where I have absolutely nothing to do. So. Perfect timing.

Didn't know there were music divisions in the military that you auditioned for. It might be because Sweden doesn't have a military...

I plan on delving into the campaign for a couple hours then going to bed.
When I make my grand re-arrival to Battle.net proper I want to be well rested and have a good chunk of time to commit, rather then try to squeak in a couple games when I have to work in the morning.

Not only that, but everyone will be trying to clamber up the placement matches and ladder as soon as they can right from the get go. It's going to be insane. I'm going to avoid B.net and stick to single player for a while.
I'm still on the fence to be honest. I've watched a lot of eSport coverage of beta games, I try to hype myself up for it, but I have a nagging feeling that it's just too similar to Starcraft 1 and that I should pass it by.
I think I'm more excited for the creative mods people will make rather than the actual game.
This morning I had a dream that I was at work and going to pick up my copy during lunch, but the entire freeway system was completely jammed with cars of other people heading to pick up the game. Starcaft 2 shut down the entire San Diego freeway system. Then I figure I'll take the trolley, but some rocks had fallen on the tracks somehow. I guess it was the novice trolley. Then I remembered I could fly, but when I got to the store they only had collector's editions of warcraft 1.
According to the Starcraft II Facebook page, Southeast Asia is now live for their servers. Which mean the Koreans are getting a headstart. That can't be good. :?
Since I saw the Mothership rush on Youtube I have to say that I got my appetite whetted for some more good SC2 games to watch. If I want to look at a good Terran or Zerg match in HD, which ones should I look for?

Do, who the fuck's idea was it to launch this game at 59.99? Who the fuck thinks this is a good idea? I don't care how much this game cost to make, PC games are 49.99. It's just a rule that Activation seems hell bent on changing.
