This is where we can discuss comic movie, videogame, and other non-paper formats of our favorite ( or hated ) characters

Use this thread to discuss things like how awesome the red hood film will be

Red Hood Trailer

Talk about rumors/changes and stuff to upcoming movies, such as who will be the next Bruce Banner!
(btw it's
Don+Knotts.jpg
)

Or talk about video games and how disappointed the 4th reveal of shattered dimensions was!

Do not talk about
How shitty my first topic thread is, I'm trying dammit, and no one else was doing it!!! You monsters!

it is a movie starring nic cage as a biker with a flaming skull for a head directed by the dudes who directed crank.

So it'd be Ghost Rider 2: Cranked?

I can get behind that. Only thing wrong with the first film was the complete lack of ass-kicking that a flaming-skulled biker was engaging in.

Oh my god...the shit is going to hit the fan with this movie. Making a major movie about how evil Scientology is... no way is this going to come out without a lot of drama. I mean hell, Scientology infiltrated the government just to see if they were spying on them.

Hell, I think the fireworks leading up to this movie may be more exciting than the movie itself.

" Don't make me Angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry" all in the Don Knotts squeak, sigh.
And ya , what's a good penance, I'll accept it, Knotts was the bomb.

Oh and in case you didn't know - the actor who plays the Old Spice guy is a huge geek and wants to play Luke Cage. In their recent twitter campaign, where they replied to people via personalized youtube videos, he went out of his way to comment on an obscure blog about him:

I wish I could make them understand, if it's awesome, and you want more, buying/renting it goes WAY farther, but /shrug, guess that's what they rely on me for.

    No.

That article links to an E! interview where Jackman says he could see the guy playing Wolverine. There's a link in that article saying rumors of the guy being cast are wrong.

Huh? Where in this article did it say the rumors of him being cast are wrong?
“Twilight” heartthrob Taylor Lautner makes a fine wolf, but could he play a Wolverine?

The upcoming “X-Men: First Class” chronicles the teen years of many of the Marvel Comics team’s most popular heroes, and while Hugh Jackman believes 18-year-old Lautner could be a good choice to portray a younger version of his razor-sharp character, he does have some concerns.

“My only question is, can he grow mutton chops?” 41-year-old Jackman joked to E! Online about the smooth-skinned actor, who has not been cast in the movie.

But perhaps recalling the "Twilight" franchise's box office records led to Jackman reconsidering his position.

“Actually, I think people would probably prefer him as a hairless Wolverine than a rather hairy-chested version,” the Aussie actor said. “Certainly about a billion young girls would!”

It's easy, low hanging fruit. It was a softball question.

Some dink from E was shooting the crap with Jackman and decided to play a little What If? with him.

I didn't realize the next season of Smallville is the last one. Please tell me Darkseid will show up, there really isn't a more suitable final villain.

Edit: I just read Granny Goodness will show up so hopefully that means the other New Gods will make cameos. Welling also said if more people tune in this last season there might be an eleventh.

A Taiwanese comic so it still counts.
Official Plot Synopsis: Priest is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. Paul Bettany is Priest, a legendary warrior priest during the last Vampire War, who now lives in obscurity among the other human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities controlled by the Church. But when his 18-year-old niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires in the desolate wastelands outside, Priest breaks his sacred vows and ventures out to find her and seek vengeance upon those responsible, especially their brutal leader (Karl Urban). Priest is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, Hicks (Cam Gigandet), a local outpost sheriff, and Priestess (Maggie Q), a member of his former legion of vampire-killers who has otherworldly fighting skills.

Priest will hit theaters on May 13th 2011.
