Oh. My. God. All my fears have been relieved. The kirby-esque Asgard sold me. Then it just got cooler, Fandral and Hogun look bad ass!

Well that certainly puts alot of my doubts about a Thor movie to rest. Still don't like the look of Asgard and the Aesir armor. Way too much gold. But looks alot better than I originally invisioned.
Woo got my Red hood finally, dunno if it's a being behind thing ( I hadn't read dc/batman since around the death of Robin, so this was semi nostalgic as well)
Still reeling from it , less the reveals, as they set those up by showing robin flashbacks, but just in it overall.
I thought it was funny that Eckles voice is pretty hidden from being recognized, until he says " send him back to hell" and then it sounded straight out of Supernatural heh.
And I may just be a big wuss, but I don't care, that final line by Robin, turning a happy line into such a sad moment, props, but the big wuss in me wants to bawl !
Looks pretty cool, short as it is. I have doubts over whether a show could consistently have that level of special effects, primarily due to how incredibly underwhelming Heroes was in that regard. But I think Jaime would translate well to a show aimed at teenagers.
According to the guys that made it, it was produced quickly and with barely any resources, so I assume the actual show will look even better.
I'm not sure what the hell was with Heroes' special effects but yeah, they were awful. Maybe they spent all their budget trying to keep all the actors from ditching the show, considering how shit it quickly became. Or maybe NBC were too busy spending all their money ruining the company.
Anyway, that Thor trailer was probably the best I've seen out of all the Marvel movies. Really looking forward to it.
You know, I ever thought of the Destroyer armour like that, moving smoothly with the faint whine of servitor motors while the plates ripple and shift. Very cool, I really like how that's been done and hopefully a big fight between Thor and the Destroyer will be in the film, should be fucking great!

Why does Stringer Bell look so angry in that trailer? Was it because he was fired from Dunder Mifflin?
It looks good, but the only thing it's making me realize is how poor a choice a hammer would be for fighting. That part near the end where he jumps up and then swings it (which reminds me of that scene in IM where he boots himself up to punch Iron Monger) made me go "swinging the hammer still gives you no reach"

But he can throw the Hammer. And it's got its own wiimote wrist strap thing, so Thor can effectively fling himself in the process. Um, in writing that doesn't sound great but I understand that's an excellent tactic if you happen to be godlike.
I can't help but hope the movie will be good, but I'm finding the impression left by the trailer to be very dull and strongly lacking in the "appeals to adults as well" department.
Like the Destroyer looks intense, the cast seems pretty sweet, and I love that it's going whole hog on the entire "Thor's a big old bag of jerk" at the beginning.

So it was Tim Burton's fault? I think this makes me dislike his Batman films even more now.

Tight pants engage!
And the Destroyer at the end looked great... "is that one of Starks?"
and not just special effects, those sets look amazing
Definitely interested in it now, which leads to my question : I haven't read a single thing relating Thor, where should I start?

Also: Thor trailer is sick.
That's a good thing, right? I mean, the art style is similar, I'm hoping that the storylines stay as close to source as SS's did too.
