Will this motherboard support the new AMD X6? (With a Bios Upgrade.)
Right now my system has a Phenom x4 9750 and 6gb DDR2 800 but the processor is starting to sort of show its age a bit in some of my more intensive tasks. I would love to plug in this processor with my current DDR2 to save some money. I will eventually upgrade to DDR3 and the rest once I feel that i have to, but i'd like to upgrade the CPU and Mobo only if i can and stick with the rest of my hardware, just to breathe some new life into my system, basically.
As i also said though, if i can't do the X6 i will take a Phenom II. But i am not sure if a Phenom II would even be worth dishing out for at this point considering what i already have. If i can't do the X6 this way i will just save some money aside and go for a Mobo, DDR3, CPU combo upgrade. I've done some searching but maybe my google fu is not up to par, i can't find an actual answer.
