Just grabbed FO:NV for $20 from Best Buy, so it's for reals--but, it's hidden. Just a warning. The lower price isn't marked on the game. You'll want to get the cashier to verify it first. This made me think two things:
#1: Fuck yeah Penny Arcade forums. I wouldn't have gotten this without the sale.
#2: What the fuck Best Buy? A hidden sale? Doesn't this blow the points of being a national chain and of having a sale? It also got me out of the store fast, because I made a beeline to the register to ask WTF and then just bought it and left. If it'd been marked, I would've hung around and seen what else was cheap.
SpaceChem half off on Steam. 'Been waiting for a deal, so pulling the trigger. The game has a lot of good press, though it's supposed to be hard as a bitch.

If you look on the BB website and heck local availability, call them anyway. I called my local and they had one copy of Infamous left even though it said unavailable. Total score for $10.
Anyone with any means of playing a DS game and has some love of puzzle games absolutely needs to get Picross 3D for $10 at Best Buy. It's not quite as challenging/intricate as the original Picross DS, but it's very relaxing and still enjoyable.
I also don't know if it's still active or people haven't mentioned it, but Infamous was also a whopping $10 on Bestbuy.com a few days ago. I'm not an open-world fan, but I know a lot of people were going crazy at CAG for it, so hey!
There has been some delicious downward pressure on LA Noire preorders, and Amazon currently has it for $59.99 + a $15 Amazon gift card, for a total cost of $44.99
Wait, you can pre-order the game and then use the 15GC on the same purchase? Don't you normally have to use the incentive giftcard on another purchase?
Yeah...You usually don't get the credit till it ships?

The Amazon credit doesn't apply to your account until after the game ships, so you can't use it on the same purchase.
On the other hand, as far as I'm concerned Amazon credit is basically the same as cash, so it's like paying $60 and then receiving $15 back the next day.
I dunno, my problem with the Amazon credit is it expires damn fast. I game a LOT, but mostly on PC - digital distribution has spoiled me - and I've had them die on me in between the few console-only games that interest me.
Got Borderlands for $6.99 at TRU. It's 30% of all price reduced games, and Borderlands was $9.99. Also, buy brink and get a $15 gift card.
Did some digging around Toys R Us, and didn't find much interesting. The only game worthwhile in the clearance bin was the Kingdom Hearts DS title, and that I'm not even interested in.
I did pick up this sweet Domo Value pack for my DSi though, at $13.99 down from $29.99

Well then looks like I'll be stopping at TRU to replace the copy orf Borderlands I traded in while it was still hot. Unless anyone thinks there's a chance I can grab the GotY version with the DLC for cheap anywhere since I still don't have that.

The GOTY version is worth it. Check Amazon.

multiple sellers offering $29.99 for Portal 2 on PC now. Nice.
This is seriously the last time I ever buy a Valve game at/before launch. I'll happily wait a week next time and save almost 50%.
this is pretty much how i feel about almost all new games at this point. i dont mind being a couple months behind on games. the only thing i dont do this with is big multiplayer stuff that im excited about, but those games are few and far between.

My thoughts exactly. Then again, I did just beat the coop with my girlfriend last night, so I guess the paying extra is worth the gaming I got to do with her.

New versions on Amazon are going for $30-$40, it looks like, and the used ones don't have the DLC codes anyway. That's not really worth it to me if I can get the base version for $7; that still leaves me almost $30 to pick up DLCs packs at the same cost, and I don't have to buy all of them if I don't want to.
I usually don't pay more than $10-15 for any game. I paid 40 for Portal 2 a month ago (the most I've ever spent on a non-import game). I REGRET NOTHING.
Amazon's doing a free upgrade to the collector's edition of Demon's Souls with a preorder. I never pay that much for a game, but that's kind of tempting...

I was thinking more of the gaming deal of the day, but Quicken is cool too. Doesn't seem like there is one, but that usually only happens when there's some sort of other sale if at all.
In other news, Castlevania Lords of Shadow is back down to $26, and Prinny 2 is at $11.
It is literally killing me not buying these. Must hold strong.

You know and i looked at Portal 2 and went "This doesn't look like a $50 game to me, i think i'll pass on it till it goes cheaper, because i know it will in a months time" 1 week later its almost half price....that was much faster than anticipated.
If you manage to track down a copy of the ad (friday's I guess?) you can try to pricematch. I know that they didn't call to check stock last time I did it at best buy at least
Buy 2 Get 1 Free on all Wii games $29.99 and up at Best Buy this week.
Also Nintendo's launching their four Wii select titles this week, so there's that.
Personally I'm gonna head over to a local sears that still has copies of the original release of Mario Baseball still on the shelf and get them to pricematch so I can have the original cover.

I thought the same...
But honestly Portal 2 has a LOT more meat to it than Portal 1 did.

I got it from a thread over at CAG. I think you can read the OP without an account, but I'm not positive.

Yeah, you can.

Fallout new vegas shows as 40 bucks on the website instead of 20. Is there a link to the sale itself?
It's still $20 at gamestop:http://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-new+vegas
Isn't EVERYONE doing that?

Yes, for their crazy anniversary sale. Good luck finding anything from the sale still in stock at this point.
