So I just came to realise that Morgana is one of the best counter to Vladimir and his fucking pool. It goes like this:
*Morgana ult Vlad*
Vlad: Oh fuck oh fuck she got me i'm alone she's at full health how will I escap-HA! SANGUINE POOL! ONCE AGAIN I SHALL LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DA-
*ult goes off anyway*
I swear I always get a Vlad who's getting too cocky with this.
Vlad is the strongest ryze counter I've ever seen. So hard to target him. They really need to speed up his ketchup spill mode.
It should be like puck in DoTA, much quicker and more directed. With CD reduction and Doran's the guy is a nightmare to even click on without a stunner.

really? i found ryze pretty annoying to fight as vlad (though i admit i was lagging and going pepperoni mode at all the wrong times) because all of vlad's abilities require you to get into rune prison range.

Sanguine Pool is such a double edged sword I'm trying to stop using it. Busting that percentage of your health can be damn tough to recover from in alot of situations.

Morg's ult also keeps going if they're resurrected by Zilean or Guardian Angel. Fun stuff.
It also keeps going if she's stunned. Before she even uses the ult. At least, based on my last game.
That pissed me off. Hit her with a gold card but the game glitched and she didn't get stunned. No shield, spiral above her head, but she could still use abilities and move. Got me killed and cost me the kill I should have gotten on her.

Also it's so amazing to have a Xin Zhao insult you about how SO NOOB YOU ARE all game, and then realise that the reason you're losing is a) Their Nidalee being awesome and b) Our Xin Zhao feeding.

yeah, honestly people say it is OP and while it is very useful, it is about as OP as Zhonya's. even a moving zhonya's is far from OP.

Gonna sound like a broken record here, but the OP part of Vlad's pool is pretty much that he can dodge turrets with it. I hate flash and Pantheon's shield for the same reason.

Xin is fine. He got nerfed enough to be still good and not broken any more. He's no longer INSTANT DEATH in a lane.

like, i honestly want to hear riot's opinions on soraka currently, and i want to hear what they were thinking when they made her. but i doubt they'd answer on the forums or in an email if i tried to see.

It was way back when healing was pretty weak. Which made sense because every other healer had instant heals and Soraka was supposed to be the best healer but she wasn't.
Balancing healing has been a very fragile act honestly. With the exception of Soraka I'd say it's in a pretty good place right now compared to how it was in the past.
She definitely needs infuse to cost mana, perhaps half the amount it restores? That way it's still useful on her but if she wants to be a mana battery to teammates/silence some dude then it'll cost her.
I can't remember the last thing I heard Riot say about Soraka, but they have said that they're definitely looking into her.
Were ranked mode not in the game I'd be annoyed at how long they're taking but thankfully that's not the case and I can just never ever see her until she gets nerfed.

If you don't punish him for diving in, sure. Played a really frustrating Xin in a ranked 5v5 that went tankmode and was pretty beefy. He can still do what he's intended to do, but it's not gamebreakingly terrible now. Same with Heimer after the grenade nerf. If you're losing, it's because you don't have an appropriate counter to their team or they can outfight you or you got too hurt early game, not simply because Heimer exist.
There's no reason to play Olaf just because he's an incredibly poor melee carry. When you are 100% shut down by blinds which can waste your ultimate, you're in a pretty poor position.
Eh, I haven't felt that blinds have seriously impeded my Olaf play. Exhaust has a long cooldown after all and I haven't been seeing many Teemos lately. It's annoying of course but other heroes have worse things to deal with.
It's just that Xin has a better way to naturally regain HP, a targeted slow instead of a skillshot that also brings him close to his enemies, and a much more useful ultimate that's on a lower cooldown.
Olaf is hardly bad, he's just outclassed by Xin in most areas.
I will say that I do enjoy late game Olaf more than Xin though, as that's where his passive really shines. Having a higher damage output when getting low on health appeals to the crazy suicidal tactics part of my playstyle.
So Xin or Pantheon for someone who likes to play Poppy? I love poppy but she is just too fragile. I've had decent luck with Xin, and Pantheon looks amazing, but I didn't get a chance to play as him during the free event.

Poppy is pretty meh during the laning phase. If your opponent has a pure melee lane i'd suggest asking to switch into it so you can Q motha fuckas erry day. I play with a poppy fairly regularly and I like our Sion/Poppy arrangement right now. Cryptic gaze to set up heroic charge? Yes please!

I think it's just prevents you from being targeted by the turret

they need to tone down her heals (make them heal over time) or give her less mana regen/make abilities cost more.

Post nerf Xins are pretty funny. They still play super aggressive at low levels. Why would you do that vs a Rammus and Twitch combo...
