Yah, I sent in a ticket as soon as I got suspicious and she didn't respond to a RealID tell. Probably about halfway through the actual dumping process. I did what a could, and even knowing there was literally nothing else I could do, it's still a gut empty helpless feeling.
Happened to me, once. Got logged out and when I tried to log back in someone had registered an authenticator to my account. I opened a new gmail account, got out a WoW 10 day trial pass, started a toon on the same server and immediately opened a ticket to put my main account on lockdown. I found out later that same day that the same thing had happened to 4 other people in my guild and that our gbank had been completely emptied. To add insult to injury, the jerks deleted all of the toons on my guildie's accounts when they were done.
Not that it really matters, since any Chinese players wanting to play have likely been doing so through proxies and the Taiwanese client.

Why would they not get Death Knights? Does it violate some archaic Chinese law or cultural sensibility (or both)?
e: After reading that story, yes, apparently images of the undead are in fact illegal in china. At least skeletons. How this makes Death Knights illegal, I don't know. What a stupid fucking law.
It's less about Death Knights offending the Chinese culturally and more about any roadblock and barrier that the Chinese government can possibly throw up short of outright banning the game.
Either someone somewhere failed to pay their bribes or China had a sudden fit of protectionism and decided to go after WoW, and that's pretty much all there is to it.

My guild's GM got hacked a while back. The hacker booted everybody from the guild, looted the guildbank, nd then /gdisbanded. GM got his account back, and we had to wait on a response on the ticket to see if they would re-set up the guild for us or if we had to re-set up the guild ourselves.
We figured this was the perfect time to get our black war bears though, it's hard to use level 1 spies to track where the raiding party is if none of them have a guild tag
(for the record, we had to redo the guild from scratch, and the recovery team didn't give the GM enough money to cover the bank tabs).
In other news, my baby warrior on Draenor hit 50. I had the choice of getting Warbringer, or Devastate.
Hmm, lets see: The ability to charge in defensive stance, and in combat. Or an ability which is damage with a sunder armor effect.
I think I have lost the last tiny bit of faith I had in the vast majority of WoW's population. My Priest has been LFD level for less than a week now but I have only managed to complete I think 3 dungeons total and it's been RFC every time. Oh I have gotten other dungeons but the inevitable onslaught of stupid forces me out time and time again. This morning I log before work and figure I will try and get something in so I queue up and it pops and we get VC. I am good with this since I have not done VC in awhile. It loads and I start passing the forts around. Queue DPS and tank rushing in and pulling about 7 or 8 mobs. I throw up a PW: S on the tank and immediately get the aggro of most of those mobs. I zone out, they wipe, tanks says in /p chat "WTF HEALER?" and it went downhill from there. I left group and logged. :?
I'm always kind of boggled by how many new players the game still has.
I queued and got gun'drak on my 76 warrior yesterday. Everyone but me died on the golem boss, and started running back. So, 3-4 minutes of waiting. Then two of them zone in the back entrance, promptly pulled things, and died again. After they both released, another one zoned in the back; he repeatedly claimed he had zoned in the front entrance and that trash must have respawned. The other guy, near as I could tell, never found his way back to either entrance.

There's a semi-reasonable argument to be made that you should have to find a dungeon first before getting it in your random queue. Just give some kind of quest that takes them to the entrance and bang, they're 'attuned.' Alternately, make them do a real attunement like the old days and revel in the ocean of tears :P

Also LFD leveling my priest, 76 now. Fade is a godsend in pugs.

The better solution is to just pop them back into the dungeon at the beginning. Fuck the ghost run. I'm looking at you stockades.
Some of those runs are terrible. Especially the earlier instances that have obscure entrances. VC and WC are horrible to find.
Oh I know. I was just using it as an opportunity to gush about the priest toolkit.
I agree. I am actually enjoying leveling up my priest and I do enjoy healing and, at least for now, Disc healing is pretty different than other healing models in the game. Maybe I will meet up with some good groups tonight? Why....why are you all laughing at me? Was it something I said?

re: Priest in low level LFD:
By the time my priest hit the level 40 dungeons, I was getting complimented on how fast I hit Fade on aggro. My reply was always that I had a lot of practice.
re: dungeon runs
Don't forget Mara, BRD, and the new ICC 5 mans.
In fact, I think Mara for the Pristine Waters segment has to be the worst given that you can't just jump back to that portion. You have to find your way to the orange or purple entrance so you can rez, pop out of the dungeon, and then use the "teleport to dungeon" function to pop back in at the spawn point.
In my experience, if my group wiped in the ICC 5 mans, I'd always encounter somebody in the group who didn't know where the entrance is when they were trying to get back in to rez.
Edit: Also, I can't say I've seen a significant tank bottleneck at the raid level. A lot of those bad tanks can't hack it at the raid level and don't even want to try unless they have to.
My current guild has 3 10 man teams running = 6 tanks, we run once a week on 25 where you only need 2-3 tanks. This = bottleneck.
Also we have 3 to 4 OT's that DPS in 10 man ICC but tank other content, so technically you have 9 people or so that 'could' roll on tank gear based on other raids the guild runs...this also = bottleneck.
It's only a bottleneck if all six want to tank. In my DK's guild, I DPS'd on the 25-man raids and tanked in the 10-mans. I got tank gear from 25-mans when none of the main tanks needed it. It didn't feel bottlenecky in the least.
Also, I don't think your guild is going to be running 3 10-man teams and a 25-man in Cataclysm.
Edit: Another also, look at what the discussion is about. Will this apparent 9 tank bottleneck that your guild somehow has go away if tanking is made harder? Are some of them bad tanks who will be scared off by the changes?
I was following the thread. I was simply saying that now, as it stands, there is a bottleneck. It may not feel that way to you by getting to roll on DPS gear and then tank gear after everyone has it, but for me, in a guild where 25s are hard to keep up attendance for, it is bottlenecky. When you have to wait weeks to get a 25 man that goes anywhere, hope that the tank piece drops immediately for the 3 people tanking, and then wait to see it again for a chance to roll against 6 other people?
Will this go away when tanking becomes 'harder' more than likely. I actually hope it does. In Cataclysm, I'll be very surprised if my guild does 25 mans at all. Of course that's entirely dependent upon how 'tuned' these instances are for 10's vs 25's.
However that doesn't change the feeling of ICC 10/25 raids as it has stood for the past 6 months, and won't change how it feels for the next X months....
I didn't think the entrances to the ICC 5 mans was that hard to find.
One of the first things I did when I resubbed was try out the LFD tool; of course, boom, forge of souls. I don't remember how I died but I was running back, and based on the location of the gravestone icon and where the bridges connect with the main citadel, it was fairly obvious where to go. Didn't see a doorway on one level, so I flew one up, and there it was.
Far easier than finding your way back to some of the old world instances, and honestly even easier than gun'drak (which for some retarded reason puts you closer to the back entrance when you release.)
