Well, there'd been so little interest expressed I was thinking of cancelling it, but we could do the Davis Roundtable again, or somewhere else if someone has a better idea.
I think I'll be able to do the Freezepop show - classes shouldn't be too big of an issue, and worst-case scenario I get a little less sleep. I may be bringing others if they're interested, so I don't know if I'll be able to do dinner, but worst-case I'll be able to see you guys at the show.
The only Eppies restaurant in sacramento that google will tell me about is both quite far from the Blue Lamp (4600 Madison Ave vs 1400 Alhambra Blvd), and, more importantly, permanently closed.
I wanna go, but I'm in Bakersfield. I have Thu after off so that's not a problem, but I can't leave Bfield until 5 Wed without skipping a university programming class I can't screw up.
So I don't think I'll be able to make the concert after all - wound up having something come up for Wed. night. I hope you guys enjoy the show though! I'll be there in spirit.
Freeze Pop is next week! Gasp! Personally I am a carnivore and am feeling like going to Squeeze Inn since I have heard it is even better than Nobby's here in Chico. http://www.thesqueezeinn.com/sacramento/
They don't have a menu up currently, but I didn't see any veggie friendly options. I'm up for other suggestions. Still have to determine a meeting time.
I rather like the idea of The Squeeze Inn, but dshiure has expressed concerns over its distance from the venue. I still ike the idea, though... depending on what time works for people to meet for dinner.
Since it is 2 days before the concert, and nobody has suggested a time, for dinner, I'm going to throw 6:30 out there as plenty of time to get food and eat it and drive from the Squeeze Inn to the Blue Lamp in time for the 8:00 concert.
Repost Edit: Oh shit. The Squeeze Inn closes at 7 and any orders past 6:30 have to be made To Go. So a 6:30 meet time would definitely be a no-go. Would people be OK with a 5:30 or 6 time?
I apologize for the lateness of this (I haven't been on the forum for a few weeks) but The Squeeze Inn is a risky venue if you have someplace to be afterward. It can take one or two hours before you get a chance to order, as this place has limited seating, and got some fame from the food network. Sorry to rain on this parade :-(
