almost every sentence is in the imperative; he's bossing you around. and naturally the subject of all these imperative sentences is 'you,' so the thing really tries to draw you in. then when he's not throwing around commands, the other sentences are about him and the reasons he made you. he makes it fully clear that he is in charge here and you are a super important part of his plan.
so in starcraft 2
it's just super disappointing that they took away all of his authority and decided he was under something else's control
all of his writing gave him a really compelling sense of authority and it's a shame that they've spoiled it with this hybrid
but maybe i'm just bitching about things bein' too different

also jesus this game has some amazing polish on it
good job sarakun and neville
one of the things that I really like is all the content outside the missions
in SC and BW, when I was playing the campaign I pretty much just went from mission to mission
but now I find myself checking for any new goodies after each mission including new conversations
I kinda get tired of spending so much time watching my hero man chit chat with losers on his ship
I blame Mass Effect
lovin' this game so much, got about halfway through the single player campaign last night and finished after doing the first protoss-side mission
oh man please tell me terrans get back valkyries at some point in the single player
I haven't played through as much of the campaign as you have but I can tell you with 99% confidence that they don't get them back. I had a huge perv through the map editor to see what old units made it back. No Reaver either.
The Reaver is the only unit I get really nostalgic over.
Doesn't matter though. Game is great.

they really should have reduced the frequency that the i-Pistol add plays
it's a very minor complaint, but the joke isn't that funny and after seeing it pop up so often I'm just annoyed by it now
Yesterday while playing the Lava planet mission I got an achievment message saying I earned the achievment "The Scenic Route". But it didn't show up in the after mission report and I can't seem to find it on my bnet profile at all, earned or otherwise.
Did I just imagne that?

He's saying it shouldn't be a special ability that some units have, but that most or all units should do so.
Okay, that makes sense. I don't think that it hurts a game like SCII where most units can't do that though. I guess I don't play enough RTS games that it's something I'd like to see become en vogue but I can see the argument for it.

Eh, shooting while moving as a standard ability would allow people better at micro to decimate people who would other wise cover themselves with their ability to macro

did you disconnect from battle.net during the mission? im pretty sure its what causes that to happen. same thing has happened to me on one or two missions

I feel like I'm playing Wing Commander again!
The guy put in for a faction change on my stupid old WoW character and I don’t even care about that I just want to help Raynor kill some bitches.
I just want to play some starcraft!
so..don't?
most of it is strictly optional

Exactly how I felt
yes, so much this
god i love you newegg, that is the cheapest shipping option too
starcraft soon

however the album ad is pretty good
Secret Satan
and firebats
Because I would burn the world away with both of them combined
and I swear that firebats have flames that are about twice the size of the ones on the hellions
And just stick an SCV or MULE with the hellions, and set them to auto-repair
They don't attack until the end of the animation and said animation takes too long
Really, really feel more like walking tanks then marauders do
To be fair, I pretty much love every single Terran unit
Science vessels specially
Because god damn that is a sexy heal beam
like
i am very disappointed the raven is in multiplayer and the science vessel is not
it is that cool
I can't decide if I like spider mines or shooting while moving more
Did I just imagne that?
