This is a thread about that game that's called League of Legends.
It is a free game that is based around the adventures of an undead hooligan by the name of Sion.
You may be confused at first, I know I was. But, in order to play the game correctly you are (this is a hidden function implemented by the developers) suppose to click on this portrait when the "Champion Select" mini-game begins:
Once you do this the true game of League of Legends begins, no more of that fischer-price, kiddy shit.
So, we know what the game is really about, let's learn a little more about the man behind the rotting face flesh...
Sion, The Undead Champion
The history of war between Demacia and Noxus extends as far back as the founding of the respective cities in Valoran. A recent product of this conflict was the murderous [Editor's note: murderously [I]badass[/I]] Noxian warrior, Sion. Used by the Noxians as a human battering ram [Hung like a Clydesdale], Sion would be sent thundering ahead of Noxian troops. He would mercilessly slaughter foes with his large double-handed axe, ''[B]Chopper[/B]''. His complete disregard for caution would ultimately cost him his life [pssh], as he was captured [He just played along because he know he would have the ultimate victory] and summarily executed by Demacian forces [Bunch of pussies, it took them hours to severe his head from his body]. The Demacians thought that the beheading of Sion would be the end of his bloodthirsty [Pimpthirsty] ways. Death, however, [Can't break these cuffs] was merely the beginning. The famed Noxian assassin, Katarina [Besides herself at his alleged death, even chicks had a hard on for him], recovered Sion's remains and Noxian necromancers reanimated the behemoth [YEAH!] to serve Noxus once again.
''Many see death as the end; for Sion, it was just the beginning.''
Let's take a bit more technical look at his awesome stats and abilities (he's so badass).
Stats:
Damage 83.52 (+43.1875 / per level)
Health 643 (+643 / per level)
Mana 375 (+55 / per level)
Move Speed 485
Armor 37.51 (+39.25 / per level)
Spell Block 38 (+50 / per level)
Health Regen 1.92 (+6.2 / per level)
Mana Regen 1.36 (+5.04 / per level)
His amazing abilities:Cryptic Gaze
Sion's stare terrifies a single enemy, dealing damage and stunning them.
Blasts a single enemy, dealing 70/125/180/240/300 (+1) magic damage and stunning for 2 seconds.
Cost 100/100/100/100/100 Mana
Range 550
[Get one level of this at level 2 or 3, then don't touch it again until everything else is maxed. It's a two second stun no matter the level; so, there's no reason boosting it early.]
Death's Caress
Sion surrounds himself with a damage absorbing shield. If the shield is not destroyed in 10 seconds then it will explode, dealing damage to surrounding enemies. Cast again after 4 seconds to manually detonate.
Sion surrounds himself with a shield which absorbs 120/170/220/270/320 (+1) damage. If the shield is not destroyed in 10 seconds, it will explode, dealing 120/170/220/270/320 (+1) magic damage to surrounding enemies.
Cast again after 4 seconds to manually detonate.
Cost 70/80/90/100/110 Mana
Range 1
[Get this first, serious kabooms. Pump the shit out of it, too. I go Shield, Stun, Shield, Enrage, Shield, Ult, Shield, Enrage, etc. This is the very best ability in the game (don't tell anyone) so abuse the shit out of it. It's both your damage dealing ability and a great defensive ability. Learn it, love it]
Enrage
While active Sion deals extra physical damage at the cost of health. Additonally, he permanently increases his maximum health whenever he kills a unit.
Toggle: Increase Sion's damage by 25/35/45/55/65, and he gains 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 maximum health per kill.
Cost Costs 6/8/10/12/14 Health
Range 1
[More HP and more damage, WOOOOOOOO]
Cannibalism
Sion consumes some of his enemies life force on each attack, leeching health to himself and nearby allies. The smell of flesh also renews Sion's fervor, increasing his attack speed.
Grants Sion 50/75/100% lifesteal and 50% attack speed for 20 seconds, additionally Sion's attacks heal surrounding allies for 25/37.5/50% of damage dealt.
Cost 100/100/100 Mana
Range 1
[His ult... attack speed and life steal with a quick cool down. Use it every team fight and against towers. It'll smash towers in no time.]
Feel No Pain
Passive: Sion has a 40% chance to ignore up to 30/40/50 damage each time he is attacked. The damage reduction is calculated before armor benefits are taken into account.
[People don't know it; but, 40% chance, FUUUUUUUUCK.]
Now it's interesting, as many of you know this game has been released in China under slightly different management. I forget the name of the company; but, they handle the server shit and they do the marketing for the game in China and shit. They do stuff like this at cons:
Anyway, here's what Sion looks like in China. Notice that his arm is less undead than in the American version:
Now, here's a gem... This is how they rank him against the other characters by health and damage and shit:
Just a little clue as to how he is held well above all other characters in the game, worldwide.
Sure, sure, there are some other characters in the game, like this guy:
But, who really gives a fuck?
Oh, and if you're looking for other PA players to play Sion with, hop in vent. The channel info is stickied at the top of the forum, and there are multiple Sion channels.

The game is really about and his bisexual experimentation.
I think Eve is fine, as long as late game, she doesn't assume that she can just saunter up to the enemy team alone just because she's invisible. (Because, you know, chances are she's not.) Every single good Eve I've played with, they stay away with their allies until the fight starts, same as every other non-initiator champion. Also, they know exactly who has Oracle's and punish anyone who wanders away alone from that person.
It helps that after someone gets an Oracle's, the team usually stop buying Vision Wards because they figure, hey they got Oracle's. This, of course, is a mistake.

Heresy at it highest degree. I will leave this thread in disgust. Never to return til I have finish breakfast.

Runic Skin(Passive)- "Galio converts 60% of his total Magic Resistance into Ability Power."
Bulwark- "Galio shields a friendly champion, reducing all damage suffered by that unit and converting a portion of the damage into health for himself."
Idol Of Durand- "Galio assumes the form of a statue, taunting nearby enemies and storing concussive energy as they attack him. Galio then bursts from his statue shell, releasing the stored energy to damage surrounding foes."
Resolute Smite- "Galio fires a concussive blast from his eyes, slowing and dealing damage to enemies caught near the impact point."(Skillshot)
Righteous Gust- "Galio claps his wings, unleashing a gust of concussive wind that damages enemies and leaves a directional draft in its wake that increases ally movement speed."
Edit - There are new Magic Resist items to come along with the new champion.
Moonlight Cloak
600g + Negatron Cloak (740g) + Giant's Belt (1110g)
500 Health
60 Magic Resistance
Passive: 5% of resisted magic damage is restored to you as HP
Obsidian Mail
1000g + Negatron Cloak (740g) + Null-Magic Mantle (400g)
80 Magic Resistance
UNIQUE Passive: Reflects 15% of all spell damage, before resistance, counts as physical damage.
Voidling Soul
300g + Null Magic Mantle (400g) + Ruby Crystal (475g)
200 Health
30 Magic Resistance
Passive: Increases magic resistance by 1% of your total HP
I wonder if Obsidian Mail will actually reduce the damage you take from spells by 15% (the wording differs from Thornmail: reflects versus returns). Otherwise it will be pretty weak: not as much resistance as thornmail gives armor, not as high a percentage returned, returned damage in a form everyone has innate resistance to, 140G more expensive.

Its a joke Op because Sion is the worst and its acting like he's the best.
Got it.
I was standing next to a creep and threw my snare forward, and it hit the creep. Their hitboxes are huge. Also a snare on a fully stacked cho'gath takes up literally the entire screen. It's massive.

pssst
actually the one called 'poppy' is the worst.
she's just plain poopy.
The trick in the beta was to aim toward the edge of the hero. The hitbox on her skill shot was pretty wide. Dunno if that changed -_-
That said, I love when teams decide to fight in the jungle when playing Morgana because then it becomes all snares, all the time.
Considering how Galio's taunt is his ult, I don't think I'd go with better so much as different.
well one of them is a taunt, so that doesn't give his opponents much of the option
the other is still a damage shield, and that is a very helpful thing. even if it makes enemies stop attacking that target, that is very good.
Unless the team captain is a retard, or is first picking Heimer.
I wish this wasn't one of those things that tends to be depressingly always the case
these items
they were made
for gragas
No. He's Rammus' MR half. Rammus is really a physical tank. Things to to hell when the opponent's lineup is stacked for magic. This guy looks like he'll serve a similar purpose as Rammus, but for tanking magic-heavy lineups instead.
I'm really interested in trying him. His abilities look like my type of Champion.

My favorite is a captain who just said "I'm not banning" and went afk. Thankfully I got Heimer cause other team didn't pick him or ban him, and we won.
Well... the bonus health on these those ones is incredibly small. You could pretty much get the same MR and Health today with the same gold, just split into two items. Only the voidling soul really stands out to me unless the other team is just pure magic (then stack 5 moonlight cloaks and laugh, though you won't exactly be doing much yourself...).
For instance
Moonlight Cloak
600g + Negatron Cloak (740g) + Giant's Belt (1110g)
500 Health
60 Magic Resistance
Passive: 5% of resisted magic damage is restored to you as HP
Negatron Cloak is 48 MR, Giant's Belt is 430 HP
So you're paying 600G for 70 HP and 12 MR, and the regen effect.
The belt is 1 HP per .387 Gold
The Cloak 1 MR per .065 Gold
So the bonus is worth 181+185 = 366
Which means the bonus has to make up for 234 gold. The bonus restores 5% RESISTED magic damage, which means at 100 MR, you get a whopping 50 HP back every time the enemy manages to deal 2000 magic damage against you. At 200 MR, you get 50 HP back every 1500 they deal against you. Meaning you'll take 950/1000 or 450/500 respectively. A rejuv bead would cost the same and probably restore more health over all, although I suppose you could consider it a flat 5-10% damage reduction after resistances (2.5-3.33% overall reduction)
Not that its terrible bang for the buck, but, like I said, you could already get basically the same effect. Although I suppose you could stack a couple and some MR to go totally immune to magic which would be fun (but make you pretty ineffective otherwise). Basically grab 5 and boots or 4 and a bunch of straight MR (3 would need you to get something like 440 MR in the other 3 slots, which you can't do).
Obsidian Mail will depend mostly on the "reflect". If it just works like Thornmail, it will be a weaker version of thornmail for magic that costs more for reasons in an above post. Thornmail is pretty situational already. If the reflect skims 15% off the top of their magic damage, then it is awesome.
Voidling Soul
300g + Null Magic Mantle (400g) + Ruby Crystal (475g)
200 Health
30 Magic Resistance
Passive: Increases magic resistance by 1% of your total HP
NMM is 24 MR for 400 Gold (.06 MR per Gold)
Ruby Crystal is 180 HP for 475 Gold (.378 HP per Gold)
So for 300 Gold you get 20 HP and 6 MR
300 - 53 - 100 = 147 gold for the passive. 147 gold translates into roughly 8.82 MR, making you break even at 880 HP roughly. Which is pretty nice. Though at 3000 health you only get a 350 gold advantage over current items. At 4000 its 520. Probably the best item of the bunch though.
Edit: of course, Voidling Soul says "Total HP" instead of Maximum HP like most items... if its your current HP that will significantly weaken it, but it would still be good and it seems unlikely they would use Total for Total Current instead of Maximum.
Edit: I also find it ironic that the best item is Voidling Soul while Voidlings are one of the worst passives in game :P Dammit Malzhar...

it's fun proving to myself that all the people complaining just don't know how to deal with him effectively, as i halt his pushing. granted, i can't generally counter-push; but, at least he's not knocking down my shit.
