One of awesome Enforcers (Lori rocks!) has made it her personal project to secure discounts for PAX attendees showing a badge at various establishments in downtown. Here is the current list of participating companies, details and exact discounts will be added as we get closer to the show.
Fabulous! I see a few places that are often choices for office/work lunches (the Ging for one). I'll be sure to talk them up for being so awesome and supporting PAX!
I had noticed this in a thread down farther on the board. Kukuruza is giving a 10% discount for people that have PAX badges.

So just so we are clear: these are only good during PAX days, and not for before/after PAX, meaning we would actually have to *gasp* leave PAX during active hours to take advantage of some of these?
Edit Clarification: I Still think its cool regardless that they are offering these discounts. I am just curious for planning purposes.
So are we going to get any info regarding exactly what the discounts are at each of these places before PAX? It would be good for planning in advance Thanks!! Great idea!
There will be more places signing up, and in a week or two we should have the final list of who's participating and their offers. These are only available during PAX (Sept 3-5) this time around. There will be posters and flyers on-site, and maybe Heels will decide to post it all beforehand here as well.
I wanna go to the pre-PAX dinner, but I can't get my rental car til noon and it's a 6 hr drive from here

Now if only the Cheesecake Factory was on that list?... Ohhh man that might start a stampede! Next there will be special city police escorts for PAX goers and diplomatic plates (as stated in last year's keynote).

Unfortunately, they didn't wanna play ball. This would be a good opportunity to check out other gamer friendly eating options in the area, though!

One of my friends works the graveyard shift at Night Kitchen. This gives plenty of incentive to visit him at work and enjoy greasy food after visiting the hotel parties.
Well Awesome. Generally when I am up in Seattle and need food, I usually call up Padrino's Pizza and Pasta as they deliver their entire menu (including awesome desserts!) until 3AM (and will deliver straight to your hotel room at the Sheraton/Westin hotels and I imagine most of the other downtown hotels). I am glad to see this Night Kitchen place and will definitely be hitting them up at least one of the nights that my stomach will demand food.
Any chance we can look into Padrino's offering a discount for PAX'ers? They could make a ton of money off this being one of the few places that will actually DELIVER late night. Plus I hear drunk PAX people tip well ;-)

The Night Kitchen place looks fantastic for me, who is used to being up to all hours and usually hungry by the time i pass out.
But I want to know, what is this Coffee By The Hour thing that they mention? Is it as awesome as I want to think that it is? Like they only charge you like, two dollars an hour and you can have as much coffee in that time period as possible?

Secondly is this only valid for attendee badges or if I show my Enforcer badge will it work as well?
