    Ok, made this for Bowen, didn't spend too long on it, had to take some liberties with it otherwise the majority of the sprite would have just been gray.

    I think it turned out alright but I'm not sure. I still am not even sure on my Ryo (or snake/big boss for that matter), but hey it gets the job done.

    edit: fixed boots, not shown in SS though.

    I answered the questionnaire. Took less than a min.

    Few comments I have in terms of server behavior.
    Are you in favour of "cheating in" items with admin commands?

    I would prefer non cheating servers because the ability to support other players more by giving them the required tools makes the server a better community.

    If there has to be item spawning then as long as its not high desire objects like TNT or rare metals I would be happy.

    Honstly once the stable servers with chest inv are in I expect people will have buildings littered with boxes of cobblestone, wood, dirt, etc. And there won't be any need for spawning the basics.

    I would be more interested in the future features as well. Because building ownership and vandalism is going to be where your real issues are.

    Surround your box and player carts with powered minecarts, and fashion your "stops" so the train completely passes over a track junction with a short dead end at each stop. Flip the switch, reboot the other end of the tram, and hop in to ride to the next stop.

    Looks good. I agree with the eye suggestion and you might add a darker shade of blue to the blue parts to add depth and make the bright parts not hurt the eyes as much. I really like it though.

    See I went through about 4 or 5 blues, they didn't look "right" like the WC2 guy, and I had different eyes but with the helm it didn't look right. If anyone wants to fiddle with it feel free. I didn't spend long on it really and it was more so Bowen didn't have to get his hands dirty downloading a program :P

    edit: Oh well, I'll just fiddle with it:

    Now he looks cross-eyed to me.

    Man someone is burning stuff at the spawn point in Zetx's server. I think it burned through quite a bit of stuff but I have no idea what's in there originally.

    Edit: Change "spawnpoint" to the word "everything".

    Notch has confirmed he'll be putting in some system of land-claim flags, which seems to mean exactly what it sounds like-- some sort of flag system where placing a flag grants you sole control over surrounding blocks. The actual implementation, however, has not been explained in any detail at all, and has led to giant flame wars on the minecraft forums. Rest assured, though, that it's part of SMP, and he will be working on it, once he gets basic features implemented.

    Yeah, it's to prevent people from messing with the spawn point and killing people who spawn in afterwards.

    Does lighting the spawn trees on fire to produce an endlessly-burning tree trick still work?

    i just signed onto zetx's server but didnt see things burning, actually theres leaves everywhere 0_0

    also someone stole my waterfalls from my tree shrine in the sky.

    also cut down the middle trunk but thats fine because it still looks sweet

    This game is awesome and I miss my cozy hovel I built on top of a huge network of fjords. Seriously, it's like the map generator looked this up and just recreated it.

    If I wasn't at work, I'd post pictures of it.

    Were you using the skin editor? Red works fine for me via 'shop and the editor, either way that guy is very emo, well done.

    If you're not using the skin editor then you'll need to manually decrease the colour palette to 256, otherwise the server will just give you an approximation (as seen in your current character).

    Sorry amikron, turns out when I imported it into paint.NET it reverted the transparencies to black, which made the helmet disappear. Thanks again!

    No problemo, feel free to fiddle as required.

    Quick attempt at a tron guy in between my daughter jumpin on me. (tron guy is harder than I thought he'd be)
    I went through about 4 skin colors and 4 "whites" before picking those two, I still don't like them, but they do the job I guess. As always feel free to edit them!

    I was doing it in GIMP, I didn't realize there was a dedicated skin editor.. where would I find it?
