Its a social hub for the guild where you can get cheap buffs if we have the things installed. At later levels it can also teleport you places. I think,(stress think), that you can recall to it mid quest and jump back in without taking a re-entry penatly.
I think we should grow the ship organically and not rush things. Once we get to the point where we have to make tough decisions about the amenities on it, then we should try to upgrade it.
Also, if we can tough it out to level 50, then we can just buy a bigger ship with PP instead. As for 4 maximum amenities, the basic useful ones guild chest (25), mail (24), tavern (25), bank (35) and auction (42) take guild level 42 to get. By this point, I'd think you'd be better off waiting the 8 more levels to buy the larger ship with pp.

plus max bid doesnt work so well, as in if I put down 100k it will just set the bid to 100k when you search for it.
so anyone can beat me instead of say, showing the bid is still at 51k then when someone bids it outbids them for me.
and this is the cheapest i've seen this armor at so i'm sure people will be bidding on it a lot more come closing time and i'd liek to win (as long as the bid isn't over 100k)
i'd have to look cause i dont know it off the top of my head, but if you're on just look for heavy armor range lvl 10-11, it's called fullplate of giants

Edit2: Also, these amenities and crew are a pretty big money sink. I think at this point in time, our money would be best spent in gear upgrades.
