Lilika scoffs at the suggestion that Vimak could ever be quicker than her. Unfortunately, her scoff throws off her aim and she misses.

The Goblin Shaman, though weak, lashes out with another burst of flames followed by another burst of stinging nettles. Celgar and Wil are both knocked unconscious by the attacks!

Sweet then. His first attack leaves me at 1 hp, so I can use my Razor Daily Power on him.

Razor Shield Daily: Attacker takes 1d8=8 Knocking the bastard out.

If my math hasn't failed me, which it probably has as it always has in this thread, that only took 36 attacks to kill him.

You and Wil aren't unconscious and the Shaman is knocked out (I assume you were still attempting to subdue and not kill and I'm assuming you can still do that with an immediate reaction).

Lilika will spend 3 surges to get up to full health (does anyone have any abilities/etc that ups surges during rest? if so, i may only need 2)

Then she's interested in searching the room and the shaman. First a quick cursory walkthrough (17 perception) and then thoroughally.

The room is fairly empty aside from the altar in the center, upon which rests a crystal orb. The shaman is carrying little of value, though you do discover a potion in one of his pouches (the others being filled with all manner of useless trinkets and rubbish).

In the southwest corner of the room, you notice what appear to be scrape marks on the floor taking the path of an arc away from the wall.

Wil is going to spend four surges to make it up to 29 (?) and then make damn sure the shaman isn't combat-ready when he wakes up.

"Anybody got rope?"

Lilika nods silently to herself and pointing, she says:

"Yub, we've got a door in dat corna ova dere. keep an eye on it. we should chek it whun we're done. "

She places the potion on the altar for all to see. (Is it like the other healing potion we found, or different?)

"Wunner what dat does", she points at the crystal.

Wil was at 1 hp like Celgar since the second attack never happened. Everyone else's should be the same as the last update.

The potion appears to be the same as the other healing potions you've found.

2 surges to be at 28/31, 4 surges left.

Vimak takes out the hempen rope from his kit, "Who is good with knots?" He rumbles, looking down at the comparatively small shaman laying on the ground. He then looks over the scrape marks on the ground, "Secret door - or compartment, at least?"

"I wonder how a guy that small moved an entire wall."

Wil grabs the rope from Vimak and attempts to bind the shaman.

Squints

Bounding someone is usually a thievery check. The bound then make checks against that check. When I do that as a DM, I hide the player's check and hint how good their roll was (or mislead them if it was terribly awful).

Everyone should have rope, in the climbing kit that Lilika got for everyone at the start of the adventure (Which she was chastised over, yet nobody even THOUGHT that maybe she BOUGHT them for everyone......ok who am I kidding, she stole them)

So if you took a climbing kit, you have rope.

Lilika will tie the shaman up, her check is at +12. (using Vimak's rope, of course)

As an added precaution, she'll use her acrobatics knowledge to see if she thinks it would be easy/hard to escape from the restraints she just set up (also +12, if you'll allow me to do this)

Aria waits a bit awkwardly, unable to think of anything helpful until interrogation begins.

Aria's fairly pathetic with the looking about and tying people up stuff. Can be fairly intimidating when the time comes though.

I'll burn my last 4 surges to hit max health. I can tell if he's lying, but as it often works in DnD, the flaming man wearing plate mail covered with blood and gore is about as scary new born kitten.

Lilika is fairly confident in the strength of her knots; that shaman isn't going anywhere soon.

As the goblin comes to, you find yourselves puzzles by an entirely unfamiliar expression on his face. Defiance? From a goblin?

Aria steps over to the Shaman and crouches to look at him face to face. "We would very much like to know what is going on here. What is so important that you are doing?"

Standing, she looks down on him and sends a thought: "It would be ... unpleasant ... if you don't cooperate."

Diplomacy: 1d20+8= 20
Intimidation: 1d20+8=21

Assuming that is a check vs. his Will, I'm hoping I missed a +2 bonus or assist somewhere...

The Goblin glares back at Aria defiantly.

"We are here in the service of Slaathen! Soon enough you will understand! Do what you will with me, I am eager to stand at his side."

"Humph." Aria turns away from the Shaman and gives a small shrug to the others.

Shifting her attention to the crystal and altar, she examines both for any clues.

On the crystal and altar:
Perception: 1d20+1=8 (checking for any symbols, etc.)
Religion: 1d20+4=10 (religious implications?)
Arcana: 1d20+8=12 (magical?)
History: 1d20+11=23 (connected to past groups or movements I know of?)

You sense the orb is magical, but you can't really get a sense of in what way. The altar is crudely etched with scarab shapes like the brooches you have found elsewhere. It seems to be in the pattern of other iconography you've seen regarding this cult of Slaathen.

Wil slaps the shaman across his impudent face.

"Tell us what you were doing here, or we'll feed you to the big guy," he growls, motioning over his shoulder at Vimak. "He gets hungry on these long trips."

The Goblins eyes widen in fear, now. He tries to squirm away from Wil.

"We worship Slaathen here! He gives us strength! The man comes from the east and tells us to attack the town, so we do! We do what he says because he promises favor with Slaathen!"

"What man? Where is he from?"

Wil grabs the goblin by the collar and shakes as hard as his moderate strength will allow.

"You have to know more than this, you simpering vermin. And talk fast, he's starting to look hungry."
