I just had LASIK eye surgery. Lets talk about eyes. And surgeries (and lasers?)
I was going to get this back in January but my nefarious plans were stopped. I was then told not to pay $3000 for it and to have the military pay for it to have it done this November. The bastards!
I went to yet another eye doctor just today! Not a single fucking one will listen to my vision abberation mystery. They all shrug it off as no big deal because they don't know what's causing it.
It is a big deal! You try looking at things in low-light conditions with huge beams of light blasting from every light source. Good luck driving, cause headlight are going to cause a goddamn laser light show. Fuckers.

how much is lasik with insurance?
I typed this and looked down and a color flier on my vision insurance plan is sitting right under my hands
15% off -- and the procedure is usually around $3k right? ffff

years ago, I saw a girl get her contact lens stuck on the top of her eyeball and she couldn't get it out
that pretty much put me off getting contacts until now
I don't even know what kind I'm supposed to get or what the options are or if my eyes are too shitty to hold whatever giant lenses they'll need to cram in there
is there a way to get rid of floaters? it's really annoying to see them in bright light when i move my eyes
Dark spots or just weird little aberrations?

Lasik is nice. My parents were kind enough to pay for it a few years back. One of my eyes isn't quite 20/20, but its pretty close.
Depending on where you go and how good you are, you can negotiate a decent discount if you agree to pay in cash. Of course, this still requires you to have several thousands of dollars in liquid money lying around.
like, unable to read anything more than three feet in front of me
it's fun
the same is true of anyone who comes within 3 feet of you

I'll take my shitty eyes and be happy. I'm sure it's safe and blah blah blah, but I'd rather not having my eyes chopped open with lasers.

I would get LASIK but I don't want to spend that kind of money. Also I like not having my eyes burned with a laser.

I would kill to have three feet of vision
I can make out normal sized font at about 4 inches
I'm pretty sure that's a problem.

Oh, if some of you do end up doing this, don't forget to bring the valium or whatever they give you before your operation. I did. It didn't hurt or anything, but it took a little bit of willpower to keep from panicking after the initial cutting and loss of vision.

I uesd to work with lasers. They are an untrustworthy mistress.
pfft, try like 5-6 inches
I'd love to get Lasik but every time I bring it up I'm reminded that there's no guarantee that I wouldn't still need vision correction after
I'm pretty sure that's a problem.
umm
I know this was an insult, but I'm not entirely sure what you were trying to say with it
fat joke???
I don't have the money or willpower to let a discount surgeon burn my eyes with a laser.
