    Yay! Individual zone quest achievements.

In Cata are they reworking the zones to be more like BC and LK zones (as in you can pretty much clear out all the quests in a zone in a single go)? Vanilla zones where the quests in a zone span 12 levels are just so annoying.

They've talked a lot about getting a better 1-60 flow through the zones with Cataclysm. So I would say that each zone will probably be more self-contained. And also there's the Barrens getting chopped in half, so I assume that'll also make things easier.

God, that was so annoying my first time leaving Mulgore for the Barrens...here, run through this area where everything can kill you easily to get to the Crossroads.

honestly I'm a bit surprised it's only $80. After SCII being $100, that's really what I expected for this.

I mean, $80 isn't cheap, but it could have been worse because they know it'll sell.
The CEs have always cost $40 more than the non-CEs since Warcraft 3 or so, so this is nothing new and shouldn't be surprising at all. Both TBC and WotLK were $40 regular/$80 CE.

    No they weren't.

BC and WOTLK CE's were $70

Base +$30 has been the norm for Blizzard games. SCII was the first that was $40 more.

Trust me I have every single Blizzard CE. I just checked my order history to be sure. In fact I only payed $65 for the TBC CE because I had the preorder guarantee.

Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty odd conclusion to draw. Especially when you factor in things like, you know. Christmas.

Blizzard won't let the expansion slip until January unless something...cataclysmic...happens.

For WotLK, that didn't help us any.

If someone had asked me what game most of those songs had come from, without looking I would have guessed Diablo 3.

That's not a complaint; they're just distinctly different in tone and composition than most WoW music.

They even commented on it in the SCII CE DVD, the different style of music they use in WoW compared to other games.

So checking the talent trees again, sub-rogues still have zero points of leeway in order to perform in PvE and can't even get all of the talents they want.

A huge problem causing this is the fact that they still use fucking backstab as their bread-and-butter attack, and a 30% crit boost to backstab is in tier 2 of the ass tree.

We have that here. We have a highway called Highway 6, and where it intersects another road called FM 529, there are literally two Gamestops within sight distance of each other. I went to get a copy of Metroid Prime Triliogy, before Nintendo stopped selling it, and I went to the wrong one, and had a 5 minuter "Huh? What? I just called you..." conversation with one of the attendants before he was like "oh, you must have called the Gamestop right over there". I was like "Right over where?", he goes "Literally, right over there, you can see it from here".

Man, I'm starting to feel the urge to play again. I *have* been toying with the idea of levelling an alliance character through Outland and Northrend, since I haven't seen those quests...

    ....

At any rate, there's a mall near me that has two gamestops in it, along with another gamestop just across the road at a smaller outdoor mall. I suspect it has something to do with Gamestop consuming all other video game retailers.
