i just thought she had that look of fear because she just realized that not a single person on planet Earth watching this show wants her character to live past the season finale
More importantly, I just realised how much I am enjoying this season. Season 2, while good, I think I spent a lot of time giving it the benefit of the doubt. I had just watched season 1 and I knew that this show had the potential to be fantastic, even if what I was watching at the time was definately not fantastic. I think season 2 dragged a bit and the main story arch was pretty weak/dumb. I liked most of the side stories a lot, but the hedonistic demon woman and zombie Bonton residents were just sort of stupid. I was glad when it was over because it ended pretty well, AND True Blood could go back to be being awesome all the time, not just some of the time.
This season has been none-stop brilliant. We've almost seen more action in 10 episodes than we saw in the first two seasons altogether and this season feels a bit more epic.
Especially at the end of this last episode. Shit, indeed, just got real. Good times.

I thought it was phenomenal and I was so happy that the show took that direction. Definitely cemented Russel as my favorite character of the show again.

Sookie Stackhouse - Anna Paquin - b. 1982 Winnepeg, Canada
Jason Stackhouse - Ryan Kwanten - b. 1976 Sydney, Australia
Bill Compton - Stephen Moyer - b. 1969 Brentwood, England
Those are the ones that stick out for not being from the South and portraying Southern characters. Alexander Skarsgard (Eric) is from Sweden, but obviously is playing a character that isn't from the South anyway.
Russel Edgington is played by an actor from Missouri (Denis O'Hare), but is playing a 3000 year old vampire...so no real Southern origin for his character. So his accent is probably not embellished too much.
I knew Stephen Moyer was from England, so I wasn't surprised when I heard him speak out of character. But my brain melted a little bit when I heard Ryan Kwanten speak. I just stared at the TV with my mouth slightly agape.

Anna Paquin's breasts should get a credit too. Just saying.
Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

I remember seeing Anna Paquin around town back before she had breasts. That was my most regular interaction with her. So the fact that she now has some is a constant surprise to me. I'll be all like, "Oh, hey it's Anna and... whoa where did they come from".
Every.
Fucking.
Time.
Watching people grow up who you only know from when they were 14 is weird.
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the breasts, and Anna is the sun.

Yeah, she grew up around here. I'm only a few years older than her and it's a small city, so she's sort of in the periphery of my peer group. 2 or 3 degrees of separation type thing. My friend once dated her older sister. My wife was in the same class as her older sister, went to the same school, and a bunch of my friends have younger sisters who went there also (girls school).

You know I had a feeling I got this wrong. I was going to look it up but I figured no one would really care.
Friggin southern accents.
Sam, his brother, Terry, Russel and Jesus come to mind as some of the actors from the south. Sam is from New Orleans.

So yeah, I'd see her around every now and then.
I really think I want to like it, if only for the gay black vampire and the seemingly constant gore/tits
but it would help if I knew what the fuck was going on
I worked there!
Lafayette isn't a vampire
I think I really want to assume that the black dude is a vampire
