Did someone ask if Reach is going to be better on the disc or HDD installed?
It's not a question that needs to be asked. The only reason Halo 3 had issues being installed is because they didn't know Microsoft was going to add a HDD installed option.

So they've officially said that Reach's multiplayer modes won't have any problems running off the HD? I thought it was just something to do with some sort of latency problem as a result of reading the information off of the HD.

They don't need to officially announce it. If they had known about HDD installs when making Halo 3, they wouldn't have used the caching trick in the first place. Now that they know about HDD installs, of course they are going to take advantage of it.

Co-op question:
Does every player control their custom Noble 6 at all times? I remember reading an interview some time ago that seemed to say that at some points Noble Team would have fewer AI members if you were doing co-op. Does this mean that sometimes other players would control a Noble Team member?
I ask, as I'm currently debating whether to join some friends in midnight co-op or to play it solo the first time. I know I'll enjoy co-op, but I don't want to get cheated of atmosphere.
Also, they want to do 4-player legendary and I am scared
They said that single player was a mix of full squad, squad of 2, and solo play. When playing co-op, *sometimes* they drop the spartan AI help, sometimes they don't. I'd assume that you always play as your version of noble 6.
You should be scared. Not only is this supposed to be the hardest Halo... but this is also the first time they have scaled the toughness of the enemies with how many co-op buddies you have with you.
Wait, how much of the armour is available from the start? Do I have to earn a shit load of cR points in MP before being able to make my Noble Six look badass?

You’re looking at – in condensed form – every item that is visible to players in the Armory on Day 1. The word ‘visible’ is particularly important because it underscores an important couple of notes about how the Armory functions in Halo: Reach.
More items become available as players Rank up.
As you Rank up in Reach – via Credit earn, not via Skill a la Halo 3 – there will be more customization options made available to you. Many of these aren’t even visible initially, but you’ll be able to see them as you progress.
Additional items become available based on Purchases players make.
You’ll notice in the below images that some Helmets don’t have attachments at all – well, they all do – you’ll just need to acquire the Base variant in order to see what’s available next. Furthermore, last Spring’s Halo: Reach Beta had the prices of helmets increase as you acquired more variants. In many cases, in the shipping game, the reverse is true – the initial Credit investment is in the base helmet, and adding augmentations to it is cheaper than the actual base variant was. That said, there are certainly some aug combinations that significantly change the helmet and those are priced accordingly.
I intentionally played the beta very little because I know if I let myself I would have spent hours and hours spending time attaining credits to customize my Spartan. Customizations that would be lost when the beta was over.
I really love the amount of customization they're giving though. I hated the lack of it in Halo 1 and 2. Liked it in H3, but knew it could have been greatly expanded.
Now I just want to know what exactly unlocks what armor because I've got plans already.

What kinda of color schema are they allowing in Reach? Same system as before in Halo 3?

Some people are saying modders got the whole game off the Microsoft servers. Probably just a media person, I dunno.
If it's leaked at this point, it'd be a media person leaking it. You can't force the MS servers to send you something your account is not allowed to get.

i just find it weird that this is the first game ever hacked out of the website/servers
but there are physical copies of reach so i find that more plausible.
now if some jerk ripped it and put it on a torrent for modded 360, welllllll that seems a bit more likely

I'm not gonna lie, I tried to just make up random bullshit and see if I could put Reach in my download queue. Just the one time.
Not exactly odds I'd bet on, but I just had to try.
Yeah I'm going to try and stay away from anything Halo online for the next month or so. Can't risk it.
Today I really missed the Halo Reach beta for some reason. I actually started the beta up, and watched the three or four saved films I have in there haha

Dammit... I deleted my Reach Beta download. Wouldn't mind reviewing some of my videos/pictures.
The only spoiler I want to know about is if there will be flood. because no matter how much logic you apply to the question I cant shake the feeling that bungie will squeeze them in somehow.
Also had fun mindfucking a booster group. They'd go all pink in a game, one would be the 'slayer' guy and cut down people while his buddy held the ball or hill.
So after a few games of running into them, we change our color to pink to match them while in the lobby. They change their colors to something else. We match them to that. Then they make the mistake of changing to Steel as their color, which meant that almost everyone else in the game was that color. Right before the countdown, only one managed to change his color at the last second to white.
So in that game, you could tell they were just lost without both being pink. They hesitated whenever shooting at someone, and ended up shooting each other a lot. Completely fucked with their momentum for the night. To add a bit more mental pressure to them, I start sniping their bodies after killing them and teabagging them.
Then we got them again for Oddball. They tried to change colors to avoid us again, we match them, then they both manage to change to white before we could. But the damage was done.. they spent most of the match humping me, and their rhythm was just all fucked up.
Next game, they didn't even get any EXP. Also to make it funnier, they were boosting the account that was already a 5 star general.
Didn't they say they gave jackals a bunch of new behaviors?
I have a feeling they're going to be the enemy in Reach that everyone hates. For the first three games we all hated the flood, in ODST we all hated drones, and this time I bet it's going to be jackals.

Also probably a good idea to not search for anything halo related on Youtube and to grab something that disabled Youtube comments

betrayal booting: off
juggernaut weapon damage: 150%

Woudn't mind the option to go against them in firefight.
