also jesus christ the last Protoss mission is hard on Brutal
Yeah I had to retry the Protoss last stand a few times on brutal before I got it.
Also I got all the tech and armory achievements before I started my brutal run so that I could pick all the things I really wanted!

The only way I can do it is by being a bit cheesy, and making a wall of hold-position Dark Templar blocking each of the entrances. This+phoenixes shooting down the air attacks works until they start sending overseers.
Make a lot of warp gates, then after they start sending overseers make lots of void rays and zealots/stalkers, and pull back up to your main base after the archive is secured.

Yeah that level is killing me on Brutal. Tried the Dark Templars, but am way too slow on killing overseers, and Void Rays aren't working out as well as I would like.
I think I'm just going to mass Colossi. All Colossi all the time.
When I did the DTs the first thing I did after queueing up some probes was the DT building and 6 gateways blocking off my ramp. Can get at least 6 out before the second wave that way, and the starting units are more than enough to hold off the first.

in protoss last stand make sure you expand to the north west gold mineral spot instantly once the map starts

I am never pitted against someone in my league. Usually they are in a higher precious metal/gem too.
Also, the 'favored' prematch thing is still broken. WTF. Both teams will see the other team as favored or slightly favored. Why even put that feature in if it is just broken?
Well, they rotate maps for ladder play. Or did in WC3... I'm just guessing they're still doing it. Lost Temple not being available for 2v2 can't be permanent.
After a particular number of games it re-evaluates you and decides if you need to be moved to a different division. So if you got to the top after 100 games, you're probably staying where you are. If you're 20-3, you can probably expect to be moved.

I had heard that number before, and it was also when I got bumped up so I assumed it was right.

I asked "Hey, you beat me, but you suck... Is that what you mean?"
He said "Yeah, my teammate quit, you retard."
His teammate quit... because we pounded his base into the ground.
But his assessment of me sucking is apt, I suppose. 8-)

sticking to terran seems to be helping me, though it makes me feel weak
