At this point I just have an aborted Sentinel run I might revive as a CQC Sentinel and Engineer left to do. I've done far too many Vanguard runs because Vangods are awesome.
I'm loving my Dominate Engineer. Just too fun. It's easily my favorite class now. I need to play through as a Vanguard again though, as I used a Vanguard for my insanity run, and couldn't find any effective ways to use charge.

Hmm...I think I'll probably use Energy Drain on my Engineer. Seems to go very well with it.
is it fair to say that the SR2 Normandy is the most advance ship in the galaxy.
i mean, how many frigates..hell how many cruisers can 2 shot another cruiser, especially one as advanced as the collectors. i bet an upgraded normandy could take on a dreadnought

Well. Upgraded SR2 does have the Thanix cannon on it. >_>

I like to call it the double barreled fuck you
maybe i've hung around jack to much
I call it the Gentlemen's Salute.
My pet term for it is "Fickle Lass"
seeing as Garrus has to calibrate it all the fucking time

ME2 actually has a few first-person scenes, like when Shepard wakes up early in the Lazarus project
first-person shots are great when used sparingly, but you can't properly tell a whole story out of them
I'd disagree with the can't, but it certainly constrains the kinds of stories the game can tell. Sooner or later someone will probably try it, and who knows maybe it'll be brilliant, but I doubt a first person RPG would work fully voiced.

Ok guys, finally got around to getting This game. Problem is that between me beating mass effect 1 and getting 2 Ive had a complete system wipe and lost my original savegame. Is there any way to create a savegame with important plot points selected without having to go all the way through mass effect 1 again? I'd really like to go through the game with a rough approximation of my character versus completely generic Shepard.

There's two ways. MassEffectSaves.com and using Gibbed's save editor.
The latter's a bit of a hassle since you'll need to start a game, save it, edit the save with all the ME1 choices you want, set the "I finished the game" flag, then restart the game (this time importing an ME2 save), save the game, edit it again, this time to add the import bonuses, and finally load that edited save.
i don't think i've played any class more than once.
i started out as infiltrator on normal, then did vanguard on insanity, then adept on veteran, then an aborted engineer on insanity (now deleted), now i'm doing a sentinel on insanity.
that leaves engineer, which i'll probably do on veteran, and soldier, which i guess i'll try on insanity.

But Engineer just isn't fun.
Neither is Sentinel.
Everything else is fun. But those two classes suck so hard.
Ah, so I got past horizon by sicking my mates on the 2 scions. I danced around out of cover taking care of the husks and avoiding errant scion blasts. Once all the husks died it was easy.
I then decided to take cover in a truck bed, which happened to be precisely the spot where a collector soldier lands. I don't know who was more surprised, but I know who got more elbows to the face.
edit: whoever said the 2 scions were the boss, not the praetorian, was totally right. Praetorian was a joke.
I didn't have a problem with Engineer, it was just kind of easy.
The drone does one thing, really, and that is to pretty much completely negate a single enemy. It's not flashy like other abilities are, (although I thought that Soldier was hella boring) but it's a simple, effective tool that will save your life a thousand times(especially when recruiting Grunt). It's 'more gun' if you will.

I still need/want to do adept and engineer, but we'll see how that goes
Adept is BEST CLASS.
Get slam as a bonus power, why? Just because.
Slam, Warp, Singularity
Crazy fun. A level or 2 of throw just to laugh as you send people reeling over an edge, screaming to their deaths.
Hah, guns. Guns are for the weak.
above that to many shielded and armored targets make boolits better
You craze craze.
Shield? Armor? WARP WARP WARP WARP WARP WARP WARP
No more of those.
SINGULARITIES ALL AROUND
You forget one important fact, Vanguard is the best class.
All the fun of guns and biotics, plus HEAVY CHARGE!
Nope, you be wrong.
Charge may be cool, but Adepts create explosions.
With their minds.
Vangods do sniper headbutts. Nothing beats sniper headbutts.
Only little bitches rely on guns.

Added an additional spoiler for the curious folk
Oh man I so didn't see that coming
He's in back practicing flexibility.

You can try other people's save games, you may or may not find an exact match, but it worked pretty well for me.
yea it doesn't have to be perfect, just close. I'm not that picky. Thanks for the quick response!
Edit: found one that is just about exactly right. like probably 99% the way I played my game. Very nice.

watching my power armor blow off and knock the rocket ladies on the platform ACROSS THE CHASM into the abyss is awesome
it's got a bigger blowdown radius than a warpsplosion
thing is, you gotta play it aggressive
get up in peoples faces and throw some elbows
EDIT: you are right that sentinel on horizon isn't that fun
but to be fair i brought mordin and i should have brought kasumi for her harby-neutralizing powers
